This was a lovely bed & breakfast. Convenient to many restaurants shopping and historical sites via walking. The rooms are spacious clean and beautifully decorated The Innkeepers were welcoming and very knowledgeable about the history of the area Breakfast was delicious and healthy. Just perfect!

Great B & B

Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great. This B & B is close to restaurants and shops. Very nice place and nice hosts. Would definitely recommend and stay again uf in the area

Our stay was excellent! A lovely historical house and setting, wonderful and interesting accents around, excellent books with house and New Bern history to read, our room was comfortable and perfect with view of the clock, gracious additions to make our stay like home, the breakfast was delicious and excellent, off street parking and hosts helpful and personable. We would love to return!

We were happily greeted by Tracy & Gretchen who provided us with everything we needed to make our stay in Benjamin Ellis House B&B quite enjoyable. Most places we went were within walking distance. Breakfast was excellent. Interaction with other guests was a bonus. We would definitely stay here again while in New Bern.

Nicely kept historic home in a great location convenient to the water front. Bed was reasonably comfortable and with nice linen. TV was a little small and breakfast was on the light side. A few breakfast options would have been nice such as as conventional menu items like eggs and toast.

Breakfast wasn’t my cup of tea (I’m really picky) but everything else was great. My room was in the front of the house, closest to the street so it did get a little noisy. Service was great though. Nice property.
