I had a fantastic stay at the Courtyard by Marriott New Castle while in town for a funeral. From the moment I arrived, everything felt easy, welcoming, and thoughtfully handled. Check-in was quick and seamless, and the staff were wonderful—professional, friendly, and genuinely helpful. Their warm service set the tone for a great stay. My room was spotless, modern, and extremely comfortable. The contemporary furnishings gave the space a fresh, upscale feel, and everything was clean, neat, and well maintained. The location is hard to beat: right in a convenient part of New Castle, Delaware and easy to navigate. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone traveling and looking for a clean, comfortable, well-located place to stay.

This is a good place to stay if you're playing lacrosse or soccer at the Kirkwood complex. No free breakfast and no pool and honestly a little expensive, but the room was nice and extremely clean. There is a Starbucks and a Royal Farm next door. There is a bowling alley nearby with nearly 50 lanes, great wings and beer, an arcade, and laser tag. An awesome place to take a team while you're visiting for tournaments.
