This was a gorgeous, spacious vacation spot for our large family. The amenities were comparable to a 4 star hotel. Perfect for family meals (inside or on the spacious deck) and group games. The owner was very responsive and helpful with questions before and during the stay.

Class Reunion Stay

Stayed here for a college reunion with a few other couples. The house was spacious and extremely well stocked. Beds were comfortable and the location was beautiful with many of us either going for a run along the water or walking to the nearby park. Katie was superbly responsive and friendly. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely do so again!

Great family gathering house

We were a family of ten with 6 adults and 4 children ages 3-7. The house was well stocked and lacked nothing. Beach access was a mile away and beach passes were great. The kids loved the town playground and Mitchell College’s ice cream was a hit. The house was spacious and beds were comfortable.

A beautiful home!

Absolutely loved staying here. Katie was super helpful and my group had an amazing time. The house is plenty big for big groups. While my group was supposed to be 16, we only had 8 but it felt even more special! Everyone had their own rooms & thoroughly enjoyed their time. Thank you for being an incredible host, Katie!

Getaway Retreat

My sisters and I planned a getaway retreat to relax and bask in the goodness of the Lord. This house was STUNNING 💜💜. There was more than enough space, everything was cleaned and up to date, it was decorated beautifully and we wanted for nothing. The plus was the amazing view of the waters and sunrise. Beautiful Home in a Superb Location!

The house was perfect for our stay. It accommodated my husband, myself plus our large family. Each guest bedroom was comfortable and well equipped. The area where we gathered the most was upstairs overlooking the water. It provided an opportunity to visit and play games. We also appreciated the dual sets of washers and dryers on each level. Definitely recommend to large groups and those wanting a centrally located property.

SUCH A GREAT TIME

My partner and I had our bridal parties stay for the weekend for our wedding in Deep River. Knowing that all our favorite people had a place to stay and celebrate with us was such a great peace of mind. Katie's home was beautiful and offered everything we needed for an unforgettable weekend. I would say there the only thing that was different than we expected in the listing was the size of the backyard. Coffey Family Getaway

From the first communication with Katie we had nothing more than wonderful experiences. The home is beautiful and the neighborhood is so charming. We thought parking would be an issue but had no problems. Walked to Ocean Park every morning. The kitchen had EVERYTHING we needed and then some. We look forward to being able to come back next year. House accommodated our family of 13 perfectly. Kitchen amenities (dishware pots, flatware, paper goods, spices, condiments, etc). were outstanding. Place was immaculate. Owner was always responsive to communications and very helpful with sharing information about the area.Two issues - kitchen hot water faucet was not working.A large living room on first floor, instead of the second, would have been more comfortable since some people had difficulty with the stairs..

It was convenient stay at this house for our group of 10 adults and 5 kids. House was clean , well organized , seamless , provided with more than basic amenities , freshly cleaned linens and very spacious. Katie was approachable ,very helpful with the check in and checkout instructions with local area recommendations and easy to communicate . For me, the hand written welcoming note by the host was the warm gesture. :) Cozy and Very well suited for our group of friends for the January long weekend . New London Gem

This was the perfect getaway for our family gathering to celebrate my sister's 80th birthday! Everyone came by planes, trains, automobiles and ferries for this wonderful week. The house is very spacious and accommodated us nicely. The dining room was able to hold 24 of us for dinner one evening! The proximity to Ocean Beach Park with the beach passes was a plus! Beach chairs and umbrellas were even available for us. Katherine was an amazing host and was readily available to answer any questions. Would definitely recommend this beauty of a house for large families or group gatherings. My only wish was that we had access to another full size refrigerator, besides what was in the fully equipped kitchen.

Great Holiday Family Gathering Spot

We were looking for large spacious place for our family to "meet in the middle" (between northern NJ and Mass). We had a total of 10 adults and one toddler and two 3 month olds (as well as a dog). This place worked out perfectly.Katie was awesome and very responsive to any questions we had.The Home: The space in the home is super...from the bedrooms to the multiple "living" areas. We LOVED that it was decorated for the holidays.The kitchen, while a tad small, worked just fine for the several home cooked meals we prepared and served in the ample dining room.The only minor issue was trying to get temperature of the home consistent. While we happened to be there on the coldest weekend of the year (literally 10 degrees out), it took a while to get the home warm...but once we did - all was good.Lastly, the location was good for us as mentioned - as it was in the middle for us, and it was a short drive to Mystic where we hung out one afternoon.We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing Location for Bridal Getaway

My now Wife and I stayed here with our entire wedding party as an alternative from a hotel. This was such an amazing experience, the layout of the house was beautiful and allowed every member to have not only their own sleeping quarters, but private space as well. We were a group of 20 people so options are limited, but this home was a no brainer. Not only was it beautiful, but also functional with a HUGE dining room table and living area on the second floor for the majority of our guests to be together and get to know one another. Katie was also wonderful, we had very few "issues" during our stay, but when we had to contact her for user error trying to turn on the firepit or questions about trash handling she was so responsive and helpful typically getting back to us in less than 10 minutes. We had family and friends traveling in from all over the country (WA, AK, FL, IA) for this event and Katie was accommodating to all of them when we asked about max number of people in the home at any given time. Katie made this part of our wedding weekend easy and fun. We almost wanted to get married again, just to have an excuse to book this property again!
