Top quality and one stop dining/breakfast

Kings & Queens is probably the best local hotel in NZ. Really nice spacious rooms, good parking, good shower (bit low on wall) and very good selection of food in their food court and cafes. The coffee roaster cafe is extraordinary good - super coffee, fresh delicious toasts and nice granola.

Front desk staff were fantastic. Explained the property and parking and went over dining options in detail. Plenty of great bars and restaurants within easy walking distance (Snug Lounge is a must try). Very clean and quiet hotel - would definitely stay here again.

Lovely Hotel

We loved our stay at the Kings & Queens Hotel, the staff were so friendly and accommodating and the room and facilities were so well considered and well maintained. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommend a trip to their lovely bar 'Itch Wine Bar' and a pizza from Mrs Whites. Amazing!

Couples night away

Great hotel, modern, spotless, beautiful decor and superb location. Only problem was our room was above a quiet street and we were awoken by a very loud car early in the morning. Otherwise it was a great stay.

Highly recommended

This was a little more than we would normally spend on a one-night hotel stay, but was definitely worth the extra we paid. On check in we were given an upgrade to the Anniversary Suite which was absolutely beautiful. Lots of eatery options close by, which was great as the night we were there the weather was atrocious.

Exceptional, like no other!

My husband and I had a 'staycation' at King and Queen and had an exceptional stay. The person who checked us in could not have been lovlier. Such a stylish hotel that has real personality and the 'extra' bits like multiple vouchers for food and drink in the eateries nearby and the lolly dispenser make sure that its not an ordinary stay. Would recommend to anyone coming to our beautiful city. More than just a hotel, thanks so much!
