"Misleading pricing due to a mandatory “resort fee” that was only disclosed after booking, adding significant extra cost and making the stay far more expensive than expected. The hotel condition was also disappointing compared to photos, with dated rooms and unreliable Wi-Fi. Overall poor value for money and not recommended."

"I was a repeat guest but probably won’t stay again. I booked my prepaid nonrefundable June couples vacation here mainly for the pool and the location. Unfortunately the pool wasn’t open in June and given the outrageously high daily “resort fee” I felt very much price-gouged (the mini gym/bar/club isn’t important to me only the pool). They justified the cost by offering a minuscule $10 minibar/room service credit which is not useful if you don’t consume junk food or booze which is not for me. The room was obviously beneath the bar and the noise pollution was intense. We also had to deal with a fire alarm going off loudly several times for a non-life threatening situation (annoying but better than no alarms). The room was short several types of towels which I didn’t discover until I was wet from showering (delivery of new towels was prompt). My other main complaint is a $450 deposit was made at check in which is normal and I checked out a night early knowing it was a nonrefundable prepaid reservation. The day after I left my credit card was charged a second time for another $450 ($900/total) despite no deficiency on the original deposit. This requires further investigation and resolution on my part so the time-suck is not welcome. The staff was always professional. The space is clean enough (elevators needed glass cleaning). The location is perfect. I feel like the cost of this stay wasn’t worth it for me. Your mileage may vary."

"I'm a disabled Marine Corps Veteran and this was my worst stay in New York I have ever had. They over charged $354 for a double bed room one night thats advertised on their website for $154. Then we see tha tthe entire area around hotel is under major construction which was not informed to before booking. I respectfully asked for wake up call at 730am twice and received confirmation from the front desk representative when I checked in. In-addition there was fire truck with lights flashing in front our room from 11pm to 6am which kept up my 2 year old all night. I spoke to front desk representative at 830 when I left and they still had me staying up until noon which I recieved a text alert. Lastly, I went back to hotel to make sure I was checked out at 1130am and spoke to Ming the manager who didnt care about the issues, his other front desk representative was laughing about it. He also said they eont do wake up calls. This place is unprofessional, dirty and not worth the risk."
