I stayed at this property for four nights in April 2025. All of the staff I worked with were very pleasant and helpful. I splurged on a corner room so I could have a view of the busy streets and city. The first room I was assigned was on the 14th floor and had a less-than-exciting view. I arrived later in the evening, so there were no other rooms available, but they agreed to move me the next day.
I was able to pack my bag and leave it in the room and go out and enjoy the day. When I returned, they moved me to a room on the 27th floor that had a spectacular view of 9th Avenue. I was very happy! They delivered my bag to the new room quickly, then also delivered a complimentary fruit plate for the trouble. The room was very comfortable and spacious.
The hotel bar and restaurant, The Stinger, was a convenient place to meet with friends and had a good selection of food and drinks.
This hotel is conveniently located in the theater district, in walking distance to most shows. It is surrounded by the vibrant Hell's Kitchen neighborhood, full of restaurants, bars and entertainment, and right across the street from Birdland jazz club.
