My family and I stayed here for the weekend of my cousins wedding at Brooklyn Botanical Gardens. We are a family of 4 (with little kids, age 2 and 6) and my brother and his teenage daughter stayed with us also. This house was really great. It's VERY spacious. All of the bedrooms are a comfortable size. The house was clean and matched my expectations well from seeing the pictures. The kitchen is well stocked and there were even some games for the kids to play.We also loved the location. It's on a very quiet residential street and we had an easy time exploring the neighborhood on foot. It was an easy walk to the subway, prospect park, and many good restaurants. There's also a small, cute coffee place place right around the corner. The host was very helpful and communicative. We had a lot of extra questions during our stay and he was also responsive and helpful.

Excellent house for a large group (there were 7 of us), kitchen was well stocked, host was super easy to work with (and accommodating). The only awareness would be there isn't a bathroom on the main floor (kitchen, living, dining), not a big deal unless you had mobility challenges. Off street parking was great, and the neighborhood was nice..

We came into the city for a few days to watch some US Open tennis. While the house wasn’t super close to Flushing it was a great neighborhood near the park. We loved the community. The neighbor, Pierre, was really nice really nice and welcoming. There are great places to eat and drink near by, good markets, and easy transportation options. The owner was super helpful and very nice and the house was very well appointed. Look forward to going back!

This is a spacious, elegant, and very comfortable property. It was quiet and had great outdoor features, places to walk to a driveway which is a huge plus if you are driving. There is a local delivery service for a wide range of foods which was great for our first night there. From the start of our booking, preparation for our trip, getting settled in, and last minute details about the house Sean was the best Host I have yet experienced during our travels. Absolutely 5 stars!

I am a picky VRBO user and this property rates as my #1 all-time favorite. Sean, our host, has curated a calm oasis in the middle of Brooklyn, and has thought of every detail in outfitting this lovely property. Off-street parking was a blessing. We sat in the backyard patio every night after long days of sightseeing. The bedding and linens were as lush as a 5 star hotel. Most impressive was Sean’s attentiveness. He is truly an extraordinary host. His guestbook is legendary for its informative photos of all the necessary guest questions and suggestions for things to see in do in the neighborhood. Love the location, the property and the experience! Well done!

NYC - Brooklyn

The property was beautiful, the outdoor seating area was nice to have. We were there to celebrate my son’s 14th birthday and the boys loved having the basement space to hang out. The property was as advertised and Sean was great about communicating. The neighborhood was nice and it was an easy 7 or 12 minute walk to the subway.

Comfortable space to explore the city

We stayed for four days on a trip to see a bunch of Broadway shows and do touristy things in New York. The house is spacious, clean and comfortable with plenty of space to spread out. It has everything you need (plus a lot of nice extras - welcome snacks, toiletries, washing machine, grill, huge TV room). It’s easy to get to Manhattan on the Subway and it’s a nice refuge at the end of the day if the city is just too much. The neighbourhood felt safe - we walked back from the Subway after dark every night and never felt unsafe. Sean was very communicative and helpful before, during and after the trip. If there had been any problems (which there weren’t), I’m sure Sean would have addressed them immediately. Check in was easy and the whole visit went very smoothly. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to others in an instant.

The bad. Before arrival the owner offered to give us a ride to and from airport. I thought this was very generous. After responding interested in the ride, he texted a few mins later with a price and would need to be paid off VRBO before the trip, in order to avoid "VRBO cut". I told the Sean, we had 6, and asked if his SUV could hold us safely. He reported back yes. When he arrived, his car could only hold 5 of us, so my 10 yo, had to share a seat. The extra bed is in the Den, which has no AC. Only the 3 bedrooms have AC units. The WORSE: The steep staircase to basement handrail fell off. Sean told us he installed it himself, but he only secured it to the dry wall which is against code. When Sean arrived at c/o, he inspected the house. He began texting me complaints. He said the Wine was taken. The wine was wrapped and placed on table and looked like a gift for the guest. He demanded we pay for it. He then said the table was scratched and needed payment for that as well. He demanded we pay as we were riding with him to airport by another app outside of VRBO. I was at his mercy with my family racing in the city. I didn't mind paying for the wine, that I thought was a gift, but I know we did nothing to scuff the table. As we were walking away at the airport he then told me that we used a vape in his house. NO ONE in my fam vapes/smokes at all! It seems clear that he wanted to get as much money as possible from us. Don't Trust him!

Stunning and comfy stay!

We loved our stay at Sean’s house! Sean was a great host- helpful, caring, and very communicative. He went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. The house is gorgeous, spacious, and very welcoming! Great location and family oriented neighborhood. Book it, you won’t be disappointed- this house is a gem and a rare find!

We had a great stay - the house is fantastic - very clean, spacious and comfortable with all the amenities we could have asked for. Just what we needed!

My family is grateful we had such a warm and inviting place to stay during our last trip to NY. It wasn't an easy trip. We were returning to NY for the funeral services for my mother. My dad, my daughter, and I stayed at the house. It was clean, comfortable, bright and well appointed. It provided a great respite during a difficult trip. It was close to the church and easily accessible to the driver who brought us in from out of town and the limo on the day of the service. I even had the opportunity to have dinner with friends at a nearby restaurant. I needed that connection and was glad there were some great food options close to the house.Sean was very accommodating and made sure we had all that we needed. I would definitely stay there again.

We had a great stay and the host was very hospitable and even checked with us the day before we arrived to make sure we had all items in the home to be comfortable. Lovely Brooklyn home with private parking

We were in town for a family wedding and had a very comfortable stay! It was a luxury to have private parking waiting for us as street parking was full when we arrived close to midnight. Inside, there was lots of space to spread out with so many thoughtful details such as: umbrellas by the door, Brita water pitcher with new filter, Keurig coffee maker with assorted ground coffees, Dove soap bars in the bathrooms, quality hand soaps, air purifiers in every room, just to name a few! Everything was as pictured. One note about the layout: I expected the main bedroom to have a bathroom en suite; however, the 3 bedrooms are upstairs with one shared bathroom and the 2nd bathroom w/ glass shower is in the basement/lowest level where the laundry and living room/den are located. It worked fine for us but wanted to mention it. Beds and pillows were the most comfortable I've experienced at any vacation rental, hotel or resort, no kidding. We've traveled a lot and beds felt like home. Neighborhood was quiet but we didn't get a chance to explore with our short stay. Sean was great to work with and responded quickly with every message. All instructions were clear and very helpful. I would stay here again and recommend to others!
