Perfect cozy getaway

The one room space was exactly what was pictured and what was needed. Wood pellet heater added a super calming level of comfort and the decor of the room was perfect. Will definitely be coming back.

Lovely warm getaway

We loved everything about our stay. It was extremely private and cozy. We couldn't ask for more. Best getaway we ever had. I will return in a heartbeat! Cozy vibe was maintained in every room inside to the scenery and surroundings on the outside. Thank you for the much needed R and R.

Incredible!

It was our first weekend trip away together and I don't think we could've picked a better spot for it. About 15 mins away from Beacon NY, and it has all the amenities you need and more. The owners are very easy to deal with and even gave us a late check out. Everything in the place works very well and there are clear instructions on how to use all of it.

HOW BAD? FOUND DIRTY WOMEN'S UNDERWEAR UNDER PILLOW!

Place was filthy with cob webs and bugs everywhere, hair and dirt stuck to stove, bed had NOT been changed as you could see the body imprints in the sheets and pillows, AND to top it all off there was used dirty nasty women's underwear under the pillows by the head board... a clear biohazard. Foyer is dark like night and light in ceiling is out. Also they don't tell you on the web site that they have well water and that it smells like sulphur and the odor fills the whole room. You have to read the little notes stuck everywhere. When showing the host these things she accused us of trying to get "something for free" Couldn't believe it. Didn't want anything, especially we didn't want to stay is such smelly nasty quarters. We left after finding dirty underwear under our pillows... you would have too! Had to quickly find another place... which cost us $140 more and host is fighting refund!!

Cozy, Pet-Friendly Getaway

I had a very positive experience staying here! The space is super charming—almost cottage-like—and just the right size for one to two people and a pet. It was peaceful and comfortable, with everything I needed, and I really appreciated how pet friendly it was. The location is also conveniently close to local amenities. I’d definitely recommend it for a solo retreat or quiet escape.

Super cozy spot for two!

My girlfriend and I spent a weekend here for Valentine's Day, and it was perfect for our needs. It's very easily accessible and easy to get to from downtown Newburgh/Beacon. Phyllis was very communicative throughout our stay and super understanding of the winter weather coming in the morning we left. Everything is as listed and we really enjoyed ourselves here for a winter retreat!

Just what we needed

We were in town for the state high school soccer championships over the weekend and needed a pet friendly place to stay. This place was just right and had everything we needed. It was very cozy and very private. If we are ever in the area again, we would not hesitate to stay here.

Pleasant Stay in Newburgh

We had a very nice stay at this property. The neighborhood is beautiful and safe. The hosts were friendly and responsive. The bed was very comfortable. We had everything that we needed for our weeklong stay in Newburgh.

Just the Right Size

Welcomed respite

We truly enjoyed the clean, comfortable , well appointed room. There was everything we needed and more. There was a bulletin board with area eateries, places to visit and recreational experiences. One could see how the owners took pride in this place. We will be back !
