I can highly recommend the Pheasant. The staff were excellent, the rooms were small but very well appointed, dinner menu was interesting and varied, breakfast was great. Location was perfect for Kielder Reservoir and in the middle of beautiful Northumberland countryside

Such a neat location! Wish we could have stayed longer. It was a rushed overnight in transit between sights. The host was so kind. Appreciated the clean room and the breakfast options.

This was a beautiful facility and the owner was very friendly and helpful. The location is great if you are into country living, since it is a working farm about a five minute drive from the nearest town. Just be sure to ask for the correct postal code before going because the one given by Hotels.com is incorrect.

Beautiful old mansion home - grand and kinda quirky. Meal was great, staff was helpful, bed was comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay. Our host was very accommodating and helpful. She made us a great breakfast in the morning. There is a very pretty pasture with animals just behind the property. We would definitely stay here again.

This property was a find! I was concerned driving there as it was located in the middle of nowhere and thank God for Google maps else I don't know how I would find it. But what a delight! I stayed here one night on my way down to the Lake District. The food at both dinner and breakfast was excellent as was service. (I particularly appreciated that they had gluten free bread available in the morning.) The room was very clean and charming with french doors opening to a private deck. There was a kettle, but a small fridge would have been nice. There was ample parking close to the door. Hosts were very friendly and easy to chat with. The Manager of Warwick, guest house was cheery and very personable! We enjoyed the conversation and all the helpful information she provide. The room was wonderful as well as the bed. The parking was convenient and easy! The breakfast was filling and delicious! We had a great time in Carlisle!
