"There is a lot to like about this bed and breakfast: the location, cleanliness, the staff’s eagerness to help, and the hot tub and pool. It is unusual to have these facilities open at all times of day, and we really appreciated this, since we spent most of the day out. Our bed was soft but relatively comfortable, although the noise from the road meant that we could not keep the window open. We were disappointed, however, by a couple of things, especially the practicality of our room, as well as the limited choice of food at breakfast: if you have trouble with the choice of pancakes, french toast and bacon, contact them in advance to ask for eggs, yogurt, veggies, etc. One would expect that a king room costing over $200 would provide more practical space for personal belongings. We found two hooks, no hangers, and no drawers in which to put things. How are guests expected to keep their clothes in usable condition and easily accessible, other than by keeping everything neatly packed in their luggage? I cannot even imagine where guests staying in winter are supposed to put their coats and shoes. The same problem applies to the bathroom, which was very pleasant in terms of design. Again, however, there was only one hook and one towel bar. It is easy to see that two people will find this inadequate for hanging clothes and drying towels. And what about swimsuits? It is wonderful to have a hot tub and a pool, but what are guests supposed to do with their wet swimsuits afterward?"

"Jack was the best host I ever experienced! House was as clean, beautiful location even gave us great fishing tips. Best vacation my family and I ever experienced. Lake life is special! I know know what I want to do when I retire!"

"The place is as described. I didn’t give 5 stars because there was a book of rules that I wasn’t made aware of till two weeks before we were staying there. I honestly would have looked for a different place to rent if I knew these rules upon booking. I was on a multi family vacation where families wanted to be able to hang out together and this was not possible at this house. The owner also came during our stay to drop off ‘supplies’ (more dish soap that we did not need) and walked around the house for about 20 minutes. It was honestly a little weird and felt like he was checking up on us. (We were a family of 7 adults above the age of 30 2 small children) it would have been more appropriate for him to come before we checked in. "
