Just one block from the beach, this four-bedroom home boasts a private, fully enclosed yard complete with a deck, grill, and private hot tub to help you make the most of your visit. Great local shopping and dining options on Coast Street are within an easy walk. Coast Park and the Newport Performing Arts Center are right across the street.



    Showcasing Victorian design, the home features a spacious, two-story floor plan awash with natural light and updated for contemporary living. The main floor comes furnished for comfortable group gatherings with an open layout offering plenty of room for everybody to spread out. Kick back with a good book in the sunny sitting area or enjoy family movie and game nights beside the living room fireplace. The kitchen comes equipped with all the major appliances you need for planning at-home meals, plus a dishwasher for easy cleanup.

Great location, close to the beach and shops. The house itself is spacious and has lots of potential. Unfortunately, the upkeep didn’t match the price. We found a dangling smoke detector, a broken kitchen cabinet, and a missing window screen, we reported these as safety concerns and they were fixed within 1 day, to their credit. Also concerning was mold or mildew in the dishwasher and a persistent musty/cigarette odor in the downstairs area that was never resolved despite repeated requests. Several areas, including in the kitchen, showed signs of not having been cleaned in some time. Avari Management is not on site and relies on a local team to address issues, which led to delays and, in at least one instance, a claim that an issue had been assessed when no one had actually visited the property. They ultimately ignored our request for a partial refund given all the issues we experienced.

This property is close to the ocean, shops, and restaurants. It is large enough to comfortably host 6 adults. The cleanliness of the property was unacceptable. We found pieces of a board game from upstairs in the downstairs bathroom, indicating that floor had not been cleaned. There was hair from previous guests on the bathmats in both bathrooms. Surfaces were dusty. Some of the bedding was mildewed. The hot tub was sandy and smelly. The grill looked like scrap metal. The carpet needs to be burned because professional cleaning likely wouldn’t be enough to solve the problem. The upstairs bedroom had a window with no screen. Even the kitchen garbage can was a disappointment because it was so small for such a large home meant to host many guests. Pay 100 more per night and get a place you can walk around barefoot without being grossed out.

This property needs some attention and really needs basic improvements. The price a night (800) does not reflect the quality of the home. The carpet has numerous stains, there are missing cabinets, the bathroom smells of mildew and there was mold in the ceiling and on shower curtain. The vents and furniture were extremely dusty. The pillows and mattresses were stained and did not have protectors on them; the mattresses were all saggy and very uncomfortable. The hot water ran out after two 10 minute showers and there wasn’t any shampoo, body wash provided (just empty bottles). I reached out to Avari(the management company) and was not met with professional customer service; just an AI response of “we’ll address your concern as soon as possible and get back to you shortly”. A follow up never happened to resolve the concerns. I don’t typically leave reviews, but I wish I could’ve known the condition before renting. The one positive thing is the location to Nye Beach, very close.
