"Undergoing renovations so not everything available and room in lodges or apartments. Staff were really helpful. Stayed previously and hotel was fabulous to stay in. Look forward to everything reopening as I’m sure it’ll be first class. Location is lovely next to estuary with dog friendly pub which does great food nearby. Dog wash on site and EV chargers. Stayed in lodge couple of nights then a one bedroom apartment with terrace. Apartment was brilliant. I’ll definitely stay in one again."

"A new hotel with very friendly staff who brought a dog bowl to the dog friendly room. A bit of confusion between Hotel app and the hotel itself as to what had been booked and paid for, despite booking 2 adults, a 16 yo and a dog and replying the their email giving all the details again for 3 adults and a dog, and again at check out I was asked again who was in the room! Didn’t eat at the restaurant but it looked lovely. Very nicely kitted out room, a massive bed with an amazing mattress and bedding. Would stay again!"

"The Cromwell Arms was an amazing historic site. The food, pub, and service were outstanding. The grounds and outdoor seating area was beautiful. No A/C and a thin mattress were the only things keeping this from property from receiving an excellent rating. To be fair, the listing did not indicate A\C, so we booked knowing this:)."

"This is a amazing cottage in a fantastic village Also great location to visit other places The cottage has everything you need to relax and enjoy your stayThe host's Maddy and Godfrey are very helpful I would recommend this cottage to anyone and I will be going back there The village has two fantastic pubs which do very good food and a village shop which sells most things It just a fantastic place"

"Staff were excellent. Room was comfortable but bed was not, however Housekeeping put a mattress topper on the mattress which greatly improved the comfort element, but polyester filled pillows were not great. Overall would rate the hotel 7/10."
