Very communicative host, very clean, beautiful and inviting cabin and everything was above an average stay from the towel softness and quality to the cozy bedding and pillows and just all the extras on the property it’s truly an amazing stay and I would recommend to anyone and will hopefully get the chance to stay again soon!

We stayed at the Painted Turtle for a girls' cabin weekend and had the absolute best time. The house is well-equipped, clean, and just adorably decorated. We found everything to be in working order and very comfortable. Loved having access to the hot tub, sauna and movie room! Would highly recommend.

If you’re looking for a perfectly hygge winter escape, this is it. The amenities of the sauna, outdoor hot tub, wood burning fireplace and lake access were perfect.
