"Buyer Beware- This host forced me to spend the night in a 100 degree cabin with no AC and although it wasn't listed as an amenity the host never replied to the question of "Is there AC?" Upon arrival and discovering the lack of any cooling capacity on the hottest day of the year the host denied the refund request. Combine this with the complete lack of WIFI (Advertised amenity) and you have the longest inferno of a night imaginable. Do not rent this place in the summer and be sure to consider...

"If I could give this location a 4.5 I would. I generally reserve 5's for luxury or "above and beyond" locations. This location is exactly what it appears to be, a "cozy" motel outside of town that appears to be being rehabbed. It was in reasonably good, clean condition and well appointed. I say reasonably, because there were definite signs of age, the bathroom door didn't pull tightly closed, and there were some cobwebs here and there, but nothing you might not expect from an older, countryside...

Nisswa Hotel and Suites

8/10 Good

"Nice hotel, easy check in and out. Only thing is the room smelled a little stale or Smokey. Loved the pool area. Very reasonable rate."

Good Ol' Days Resort

10/10 Excellent

"Beautiful small resort on the lake. Very clean and family friendly. The 3 bedroom cottage was huge. Plenty of space for our group of 5. Our toddler loved the playground. Perfect fall getaway and 2 minute drive from Nisswa with several dining options and shops. Only thing that we did not enjoy was the breakfast. It was very limited options and not very tasty. Looking forward to visiting in the future."

Quarterdeck Resort & Restaurant

10/10 Excellent

"Great place will stay again. Our 2BR cabin was beautiful, my only complain was the toilet paper holder was not reachable while sitting on toilet. I let them know and how easy of a fix it would be. I would like to see a ( ENTER HERE ) sign posted for entry to pool and hot tub. We could have looked before dark to maybe avoid not finding the entry. We were not alone another couple was also looking and gave up as well. Those two things were it and will return. the staff was very nice."

Luxury Lakefront Retreat, Hot Tub, Game Room, Views

10/10 Excellent

"The hot tub and game room were a big hit when we celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with our children and grandchildren at this rental! The home has beautiful views and is spacious, with lots of sleeping areas. Ben our host was very friendly and supplied very clear directions on the use of everything. The home was very well stocked with things that you may need during your stay. There is a steep bank down to the water and dock but there is a great lift to get you down very smoothly. There is fun dining and shopping opportunities close by. We had a great experience and made lots of special memories!"

Good Times, Great Lake | Gull Lake Condo |Sleeps 8

10/10 Excellent

"The property was very clean, the host was easy to contact, the location was excellent. This property is close to Nisswa and also Brainerd/Baxter where we did some shopping at both locations. We were there in mid October and the weather was beautiful. We were with three adults, no children, but I can see the area even being good for kids.We had the upper unit so that meant we had the steps (which could use cleaning), the unit itself was very clean. We'd stay here again."
