Cedar Cabin style house in Toledo Bend

Property is located on Toledo Bend just north of North Toledo Bend State Park. Fully furnished kitchen and bath, only need to bring your food and drinks. Fenced backyard, carport, lockable storage shed, and concrete boat ramp on property. 398 Chay, Loop, Noble, La 71462 is the address.

House has central heat/AC. one bedroom has two twin beds, one bedroom has a queen bed. Two smart TVs, Direct TV package, Internet, and DVD player. If you have a Netflix, amazon prime, or other streaming services you can sign into your account on the smart tvs. Has a great lake view from inside the house or sitting on front porch. Bring your favorite four legged family member with you...they need vacations too! No extra charge for your pets.

Great area of the lake for fishing if launched from property or a short drive to many public ramps if you have a favorite place to launch. You should have phone service with most any cell provider and wifi.
This is a nice cozy cabin style house that is simple, clean, and ready for anyone wanting to get away and relax. The people it is most popular with are fisherman wanting to launch on site and fish local areas, which are some of the best on Toledo or people just needing to get away and relax! It is also very accommodating to those who want to launch at some of the more well know public areas for the bigger tournaments with only a short drive without any of the traffic hassle. Nothing fancy but extra relaxing! Able to hear and see all kinds of nature.
Also if your into kayaking we have the perfect place, fishing or rec., over three miles in one direction of water way that is not open water( wont get too rough). Plenty of scenery, plenty of fishing opportunities, and not as busy of an area if your wanting to stay away from a lot of boat traffic in your canoe or kayak!

Perfect Getaway

PERFECT

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The Lake House was everything we needed for a great get-away. The cabin was clean and cozy with huge front windows to enjoy the view of the lake. Mr. Alan was a wonderful host . We are already planning our next visit.

Happy Anniversary to us

We celebrated our 32nd anniversary there and it was very peaceful and the view of the lake was incredible. I would definitely recommend anyone who wants a peaceful place to relax this is it. The property owner Allen checked on on often and if we needed anything he was there to get it for us. VERY HAPPY CUSTOMERS and our dog Daisey enjoyed the peacefulness.

Amazing weekend getaway

I booked the cabin for my husband's birthday weekend. We had an awesome time and even though it was 20 degrees outside, my husband and his dad went fishing. It was so nice to get away! Mr. Alan and his wife stipped by to check on us. And brought us some of the best tamales we have ever had. A big thanks to them and we will be back for sure!!!!

Nice relaxing cabin on the water

Just as advertised. Nice quiet, peaceful place on the water. Everything we needed for our stay was there. Mr. Alan was making sure we had everything we needed. Can't wait till spring when the lake will be at pool stage and we make another visit. Nice porch to relax on and take in the view. Having the boat ramp right in front of the cabin is a real bonus.

Great place to get away.

This is a great place. You are right at the lake with a boat launch right across the road. The people who lives there are just as nice as can be. And can't say enough good things about the owner Mr. Alan. He checks with you all the time to make sure you have every thing you need. Wasn't our first stay here and hope to be back again in the near future. Bud Clark

New Years Escape

Property was clean and simple, a true fisherman's cabin. Cabin had great fishing decor and sayings all around. It was located near some other homes but no one bothered us. The deck on the front facing the water was very inviting and our dog appreciated it even more than us. Weather wasn't in our favor but will consider trying this spot again. We met the owner and he was very nice and accommodating. If you like a place simple, but enjoyable I would highly recommend.

Disconnect!!

Alan is one of the best hosts I have had through out the home away and vrbo experiences. He was very accommodating. We were steps from the water and the view was greatly relaxing. There is no internet which being an internet addictive person this stay was pleasantly surprising. This cabin really allowed us to decompress. The fishing was great from our kayaks we took. Basically I wouldn't change a thing and thank you much Alan.

Great little cabin on the lake !!

Great place to get away to. This is our third trip to this cabin. You can't ask for a better host then Mr. Alan. He treats you just like family and by time time you leave you feel like he's a old friend. If you need anything just let Alan know he will do his best to help. There was 5 of us and we had more then enough room. The boat landing is right at the property no going to look for a place to put your boat in the lake. Wife and I are planning to go back in the fall. Once again you can not go wrong with this little cabin.

Weekend Getaway

A perfect weekend getaway with our son! House was well kept and well stocked. We enjoyed sitting on the porch as it was peaceful and very relaxing. Our dogs enjoyed running in the yard and swimming to the island. The house and location provided exactly what we were hoping to get out of our stay- quality time. We enjoyed the use of kayaks as we explored the lake. Our son was very excited to get lines in the water. He’s already planning to come back in the spring. Mr. Alan was quick to respond to any questions we had along the way. One of the nicest renters we’ve interacted with.

Best host and wonderful private little place.

Everything was exactly as it said. Pictures are actually joy as nice as the place was. Alan was the nicest guy you will ever meet. He will get you whatever you need if it’s not there. He actually blocked me up on the lake and drive me around to my truck! It is all about the experience in life. And this one was awesome! If you are looking for a 5 star luxury life style of the rich and famous,,, this is not. But it is not advertised as so. But it is a 5 star experience with a 5 star host. We had a blast and pulled out boat up next to the house and had a ramp out front. Lake was very low and we want to come when everything is “normal” with the lake. But cabin is perfect for two fisherman!

Great getaway spot! Has everything we needed!

My husband and I needed an escape from the city to celebrate our anniversary. I chose this property because it is waterfront, the cabin has the amenities we wanted, it is pet friendly and affordable. The cozy cabin was clean and well stocked for our 3 night stay. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook the food I’d brought. The bed was very comfortable and linens smelled so fresh & clean. The living area has a beautiful water view, as does the second bedroom. It has large smart TVs and wifi that worked great! The couch was so comfortable my husband even said “we need one just like this at home” lol We spent much of our time outside by the water or on the porch. Our furbaby enjoyed watching nature, exploring the waterfront, and the fenced backyard. I enjoyed watching the butterflies flutter around the porch and the egrets in the water feeding. We even saw a baby fox scurry on the way back from the store one evening. At night we relaxed by the fire pit. We took many walks along the water. Unfortunately the water level was unusually low and we didn’t fish, which wasn’t an issue for us. Alan was very bummed about the water. He was kind enough to stop by and offer to take us out on his boat for a tour & fishing. He was always very responsive, welcoming, and helpful with whatever I asked. While it is not a new large extravagant cabin, it is very quaint, comfortable, clean, and has everything you’ll need. The land it is on is beautiful and filled with various sights & sounds of nature. I would recommend this property to anyone wanting a secluded getaway for some R&R, to reconnect with nature, and fish whenever able. We had an overall wonderful experience and made many great memories.
