Outdoors, the property offers a range of activities and amenities for guests to enjoy. Two kayaks, life jackets, water toys, and outdoor chairs are available for use, making it easy to embrace the natural surroundings and spend quality time outside. A washer and dryer are located in the basement for your convenience—please remember to bring septic-safe detergent.
The cottage operates on a septic system and draws water from a natural well, so guests are advised to bring bottled water for drinking and food preparation. Smoking is not permitted inside, and guests are asked to respect the property and local environment during their stay.

Guest access
Guests will have full, private access to the entire cottage during their stay. This includes:
All indoor living areas: bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and living room
In-unit washer and dryer (located in the basement HVAC room) — please bring septic-safe laundry detergent
Two TVs (one on each level); the main floor TV is Chromecast-enabled
Outdoor space with seating
Access to two backyard sheds:
Two 12-foot kayaks (accessible via side shed door only)
Life jackets and water toys
Outdoor chairs for guest use
Locked shed access via key (located in the kitchen)
Please Note:
The propane fireplace must remain OFF at all times
The humidifier in the lower level must remain ON
Do not touch any other equipment in the HVAC room
Smoking is only permitted outdoors, by the firepit area (please use a receptacle—fees apply for cigarette cleanup)
Guests are responsible for removing all garbage and disposing of it at the designated waste sites

Water Safety: The cottage uses a natural well water system. The tap water is safe for drinking or food preparation. Guests are advised to bring their own bottled water.
Septic System: The property runs on a septic system. Please only flush toilet paper and natural waste. Use toilet paper conservatively to avoid clogs.
Linens & Essentials:
Beds are equipped with one base bedsheet.
We provide Linens, towels, and paper products.
Guests are encouraged to bring their own bedding and personal supplies.
Garbage Disposal:
Do not leave garbage outside—it attracts wildlife.
All waste must be taken to a local landfill site (first 2 bags are free; tipping fees apply afterward).
A $60 fee will be charged for any garbage left at the cottage.

Community Respect: The cottage is located in a quiet, friendly community. Please be considerate—no loud parties or noise after 10:00 PM.
No Camping or Tents: Setting up tents or any outdoor accommodation is not permitted without prior written approval.
