This pet-friendly waterfront escape is like no other. Soak in the hot tub, enjoy a game of pool or relax in front of the propane fireplace on the deck overlooking beautiful Sand Pond. Cuddle up in front of the gas fireplace inside enjoying a glass of wine or cup of hot cocoa. This is the last home on a dead-end road. Just a 45-minute drive to Sunday River Ski Resort and 35 minutes to Shawnee Peak. Close to many hiking, cross country skiing, snow-shoe, ATV & snowmobile trails.

Sand Pond is one of the Cleanest lakes in Mane and its private access only. Enjoy your private dock and lots of privacy from Neighbors. This is really an escape. Modern House with AC. 2 Full Bathrooms. 3 Bedrooms. Sleeps up to 6 People.

Jonathan's property on Sand Pond is well equipped, clean, and comfortable. The location had a wonderful remote feel to it, although it was only a short drive to the adorable town of Norway. We highly recommend a stay at this property

Beautiful location right on Sand Pond! Plenty of room for two couples. The gas fire pit on the large deck overlooking the lake was a wonderful way to end each night. Great views of the pond from the large dock area. We kayaked around the entire pond and loved seeing and listening to the loons. A cute gem!

Beautiful place in the woods

We had a phenomenal time in this very well equipped chalet in the woods. While it was snowing outside we enjoyed the cozy cabin and the hot tub. The kids did sledding and snow shoe walking. Our dog loved the place and the woods around it as well!

Poor Management

Didn’t get to stay here because the owner neglects this account. I wasn’t notified until the day of check-in; which was for a couple days to celebrate New Year’s. I did get a full refund but no additional incurred costs for this negligence provided. Hope other potential renters aren’t treated this way.

We really enjoyed our long weekend at this home. It had everything we needed (soap, shampoo/conditioner, laundry detergent, garbage bags, spices, condiments etc) and we really didn’t need to bring anything besides food (which the local Hannafords was perfect). The property was clean and updated.

Relaxing secluded getaway

We really enjoyed our stay. It was just my dad, my brother and I. It was the perfect quiet getaway we were looking for. The property is clean and inviting and offers more amenities than we were able to take advantage of in our short stay. We would definitely rent again and try to stay longer!
