Apartment was comfortable and very clean. Main bathroom could do with a touch up.
Great place to stay and would stay again
Spacious apartments right near the city centre. Just a little noise sometimes as the noise insulation is not as good as in a traditional hotel - but similar to any other apartment in the UK.
Good location, on site parking were the pluses. However, very tired property. Broken drawer, dirty curtains with ripped lining. There had been a leak in the bedroom that had been fixed but not repainted. Bathroom needed regrouting. The list goes on. Overall, don't believe the pictures. They are not a true reflection of the state of the apartments.
APPARTMENT WAS NOT LOW COST, very surprised to see the eyeglass missing on the front door only discovered when we found someone in the corridor peering into the apartment through the door - air conditioner was broken, flat was clean but smelt - location was bad with terrible overnight noise and strange people walking the streets - don't use it. Left after one night!!!
The adjacent building is under construction. The scaffolding actually touched our bedroom window and we could never open it. This was after I was put in a room with an alley view and I complained about the room.
Bed mattresses are sagging and need to be replaced. The facility is very noisy. We constantly heard doors being closed at all hours. The front desk staff is not there all the time.
The space is very good and the location is good.
Awful place. Grubby, broken bathroom, door handles falling off. Reception Staff don't want to be in their cubby hole next to the front door. Twice we turned up during our stay during normal hours to find there was no one there. £12 to park car overnight. Just bad!
After staying at Premier Suites in Bristol and having a great time we obviously chose Premier Suites in Nottingham for our stay. A great decision. A warm welcome, a large apartment with everything we needed for our three night stay. A short walk into the town centre and all the attractions. Couldn't be better and parking included as well as super internet. Premier Suites will always be our choice for city stays where possible.
I had stayed on a few occasions in the past but my last visit was about four years ago and really liked the Penthouse suites. This time the first suite I was offered smelt of cooked food and had a thread bare sofa. The second was better, but there was no air conditioning, there were only three tea spoons. The bed was very soft, the door handle was falling off the utility cupboard. There was no iron. The floor in both bathrooms was old and the grout brown. In summary I don’t think any renovation work had been done. The carpet outside the apartment was not cleaned in the first two days of our stay. The location is fantastic as are the views of the Vity of Nottingham, but for the price I will not be staying again, nor feel able to recommend the accommodation based on my recent experience of two Penthouse suites.

A relic of days gone by, but still comfortable
It’s always sad to see a once highly rated chain like Premier being dragged down by an obvious lack of funds and attention to detail. The apartment was comfortable and clean in general, but the bathroom was what can only be described as ‘grotty’. Black mould everywhere near the shower and the hinge of the glass shower screen caked with lime scale and generally rotting. We were not warned that the lift was out of service and had to drag heavy suitcases up three flights of stairs. The lift was out of action for the rest of the week. Then I received a phone call from reception insisting that I pay for my stay as I had not yet done so. Although logic dictates that I would not have been allowed to check in if I had not paid, I was forced to produce evidence from my bank statement that I had in fact paid. They discovered that the (one of many) inexperienced staff member on duty at the time of check-in had failed to register my payment on the system! There was another unexplained charge to my card for £96 that was never explained despite a request to do so. In short, staff are woefully under-trained, DIY services are sorely needed and beware of the dodgy lift. Other than that, a very enjoyable stay.
If not for the unavailability of the elevator service, my stay would be just fine. It was very troublesome as we need to carry our luggages upstairs & another room was at 6th floor.
I liked how close the place was to the city centre and the motorpoint arena. A good size for a short stay for two people. especially if you're going for a concert. Pleasantly furnished with everything essential we needed, and we had no issues during our two nights there. It was a little bare-bones on commodities - aside from some tea bags there wasn't much else provided (I've been to other self service apartments where there was at least salt or oil, etc) but as already said, everything essential was there, and it's a very short walk to the shops. Also had secure parking, which was very useful.
We were on 5th floor with No lift I think should have been pointed out much clearer before or stay as I have an heart condition and this impacted on us not going out as often on our stay. We were there for check in time but had to wait 20 mins in the rain for someone to come to reception to let us through the main door the apartment was nice but had a strange smell .
Excellent and spacious apartment, well equipped, although view was non-existent, not as expected. Lift was not working so a lot of stairs o be climbed and no help with luggage. Could be very difficult for elderly or disabled persons.
Fantastic location for the Motorpoint Arena and the Lace Market. Apartment was spacious and tidy, with all the amenities for a short stay in the city.
Only downside to a Saturday night stay was the bar at the bottom of the block making noise until 2am, so don't bank on an early night. If in doubt, go join in the fun.
apartment was a good size with a lot of facilities. The condition of it was very poor though. there was a hole in the wall, the bath was leaking and the kitchen was missing laminate tiles. The cleanliness also was not great with a lot of dirt still on the floor. The location was great with a view over the ice arena. overall i had a good stay but would not pay £250 to stay again for 1 night!

I have to say i like this place....stayed here twice now, but doubt i'll stay again, which sounds a bit contradictory. The problem is....the place needs a spruce up very badly. Horrible springy bed, shower door that does not open, all the sinks without a plug between them, black mold in the bathroom and a general feeling of "dirtiness". If all the repairs were completed, then i'd have no hesitation in staying or recommending, because it's a great location, the suites are spacious and the staff are superb.
C'mon Premier Suites Nottingham, get your act together.
We were on the 4th floor which gave a lovely view. Very spacious 2 bedroom apartment. Two bathrooms meant we had lots of space to get ready. Nice kitchen area - lots of utensils, etc. Good quality appliances inc washer/dryer. Everything very clean. Very comfortable beds with good quality bedding. Lots of comfortable pillows. Shame the lift broke down when we were leaving but crew were soon on hand to try to fix it. Lots of cleaning staff who seemed very hard working. However, would suggest lino on stairs is washed when there aren't likely to be many people around as one of our party slipped carrying a suitcase out to the car park.
