This is a lovely hotel that is well located right near Nottingham Castle and loads of food and dining options.
Our check in was great and a really nice man fixed up a booking error (careful - I booked a double room for my husband and I but was given a ‘crash pad’ which I’ve never heard of and it’s a single). We ended up in a wheelchair room which I don’t like the shower but better than sleeping on a single bed!
The only sour point was the barman/waiter. He was rude and dismissive and although we’d planned to have drinks and dinner at the hotel his attitude resulted in us leaving and finding somewhere else.
We would definitely stay here again though!
