The staff were very friendly and helpful, even advised me what to see with a rental bicycle (which the hotel offers). The breakfast was excellent, in terms of quality and selection (although the cappuccino made from the machine could be improved). The room was clean and spacious. I enjoyed the stay very much and would stay again when I am nearby (or take a ferry) in the future.

Great stay!

Had a wonderful six night stay. Friendly staff, clean room and an awesome mattress to sleep on! Breakfast was absolutely fabulous! This was my second stay this year and will definitely be back!

This hotel is close to the ferry which goes and comes from Gotland island. We had a good stay here. The staff was super friendly and helpful, the room very nice, and the location very convenient. We would highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

Super close to the ferry terminal and train station which is great when travelling without a car. The room was tidy and the hot tub and sauna were relaxing.

Decent hotel - good location for ferry to Gotla

Hotel is good for the ferry to Gotland. However staff could be more friendly, breakfast options limited. Rooms were clean but fairly basic and really hot in July 2025 - despite windows open (no breeze). I could hear the person in the room above me snore the entire night…

We loved that we got a breakfast voucher for the ferry since it left too early for us to have breakfast at the hotel. Our room was alright and had a nice harbour view, but the air was a bit stale.

A must to visit

Elaborate Archipelago Theme, hence the name of the hotel.... Paintings that made otherwise boring hallways an experience. An old hotel made cosy and nice with smart, environmental solutions. Rooms old, but well kept. Free parking, coffee & tea all day. Breakfast very good (except for the scramble eggs...)

Comfortable, short stay

Nice hotel if you need to find a stay in Nynäshamn. We only stayed one night coming from Gotland, it's perfect as this is literally 1 minute from the ferry terminal. Just make sure you tell them if you arrive odd hours as the reception is not open at night. We could have stayed longer, the hotel is quite pleasant with lots of nice decorations and quirks. It's family run. Albeit the rooms are a bit dated, it was spacious and comfortable and we enjoyed the harbour view. It also had a balcony. We didn't get to try the breakfast (as with all hotels in Sweden it ends too early). Overall would recommend a stay here.

Slarvigt och nonchalant.

På grund av tidig avfärd på morgonen erbjöds frukostpåse. Den visade sig innehålla en flaska vatten, ett äpple och en knäckemacka. För två personer! Då har man inte den känsla för service man kan förvänta sig av ett hotell.

Det hade bra läge alldeles vid färjeterminalen men det luktade väldigt illa på rummet. Vet ej om de renoverat och lagt in ny våtrumsmatta men om det utgjorde lukten så borde de kanske hållit rummet stängt tills vidare.

Fräscht!

Vi är jättenöjda med vårt besök! Vi sov bara en natt och rummet var vad vi hade förväntas oss, basic men rent och fräscht. Inte det nyaste badrummet men ändå fräscht. Fin och bra frukost, trevlig liten uteplats på baksidan. Tack för besöket!
