The overall 4 stars is because of the price. It was cheaper to go through Expedia than the hotel itself. It’s an old, dated hotel. The room was surprisingly spacious. The front desk guy was helpful and nice. Located right by grocery and other stores. And then the stuff that I didn’t love. There were hairs on the toilet… not from the head. Some weird goo like substance plastered on the wall next to the bed. It just wasn’t cleaned well. The bed was very firm. There were still covid protocols taped to the wall, ie: face coverings mandatory, stay at least 6 feet apart. The worst part was the fire alarm going off before 8am. Firemen showed up. No fire though.
Because I’m cheap, I’d stay here again. I’ll bring cleaning wipes and my own pillows.
