"The Beach Bucket" Beautiful Beach House located in Oak Island, NC

Charming 3 Bedroom/2 Bath well appointed vacation home located at 2208 East Beach Drive. You will absolutely love heading over to the beach where you will feel like the beach is all yours. We take pride in our well maintained home away from home. New living room furniture March 2024 and remodeled hallway bathroom Jan 2024. You will always arrive to a comfortable, well cleaned home. Our weekly rental prices include general cleaning charges but linens and towels are NOT included. The kitchen is stocked with all of your favorite pots, pans, dishes and utensils just like home.

Oak Island is a beautiful paradise. You will find Oak Island to be a quiet, family oriented beach community located between Wilmington, NC and N. Myrtle Beach, SC.

Great spot, great house!

We loved our stay at the Beach Bucket! Great location, just a short walk to the beach. Loved the open living room space with big windows - perfect for just sitting around after a long day at the beach.

Beach Bucket was perfect for our beach getaway. Communication with the owners was great! The location can't be beat. The house was very well stocked with any kitchen item you would need! We will definitely stay again!

Wonderful house

You feel at ease the moment you walk in the door. Access to the beach was very easy and the view from the front porch is nice. An added bonus was the next door neighbor Chris and his fur baby Max.

Great Place and great location

We so enjoyed this property. I would return to this property. It was perfect for our family. Everything was clean. Kitchen was stocked perfect! The bed were very comfortable. Only thing wrong is we couldn't stay longer.

Short weekend away

The house was just as expected. Very close to public access of beach. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough for golf cart ride to the stores. Beds slept great! Kitchen was well stocked! Will be back soon!

Family get away

The property was as described and the photos were accurate. While the property is not new it has been maintained. The location is excellent and has an easy walk over to the beach. Perfect location for a family getaway. Older guests may struggle with the stairs up, but that is to be expected for any home in the area. The only suggestion would be to update the living room TV to a larger more recent model. Thanks for a great stay.

1st look at Oak Island

This was a very good spot for our first visit to Oak Island. We were close to a restaurant (Island Way) that we wanted to try and just one block walk to the beach. The house was laid out well for our group of 4, and the keypad entry was great...no keys to worry about. Kitchen was well equipped and very clean, as were the bathrooms. We made use of the beach chairs and enjoyed chatting with a friendly neighbor. Overall very happy for our first visit to Oak Island. We will definitely be back.

Easy Breezy

The Beach Bucket was perfect for our family. It was very quaint making for easy cleanup especially for our 3 night stay. The beach was right across the street. We loved being able to walk back to the house for lunch to return to our spot in the sand later. We didn’t have a wagon to haul the few things we had but the Beach Bucket did. Thank you. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the Beach Bucket for a simple family getaway.

Ambiguity

Ambiguous communication about bed linens led to many and various efforts to secure towels and sheets. In addition, clarity of the entrances and pre-testing of codes would lead to easier entry. Nevertheless, our family found it comfortable, clean, and well supplied. However I would include bed linens for the price, which I’m sure is much higher “in season”. Thank you.

Fun Weekend at the Beach

We had a fun weekend at the Beach Bucket. My husband was running in the Lighthouse Run and we came down with two other couples. What a wonderful cute cottage with plenty of parking. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you might need to cook up a meal, even spices! The home was spacious and our bed was comfy. We spent quite a bit of time on the front deck enjoying the ocean view. The beach access was so convenient just a couple of houses away. Freda and Allen were quick to reply when we had questions. We will definitely be back!

Our Bucket List

We were off to the beach, Don't want to be late, There's a house we were searching, The "Beach Bucket . . . . at 2208. What a beautiful place, Just clean and so neat, Not a house on this street, This suite could not beat! As we talked to the host, They were so very kind, Answered all our questions, Didn't seem to mind.
