With so many swoon-worthy features it's hard to pick a favorite amenity— but the spectacular sweeping view from the oversized deck or the large indoor pool (the best in Deep Creek!) are sure to be contenders. Also in consideration have to be the enormous dining room table, well-appointed game room, and outdoor fireplace and firepit. In the summer, your home's dock slip is just a short drive down the mountain and, come winter, the ski Slopes of Wisp resort are just five minutes away. Plus, Trader's Coffee House, Brenda Pizzeria, Firewater Kitchen, and Ace's Run are right outside the community entrance. Our stay at Peregrines Perch was perfect. As someone who rents properties often this stay was one of if not the best. No deceiving pictures from the listing, the view was Absolutley incredible, plenty of room for all of our guests, and the communication with the property owners was second to none. I will be staying here again!

Fantastic vacation house!

What a great vacation house! The kitchen was well-supplied, linens were clear, and everything was in working order. We arrived a few minutes early and the owners were nice enough to activate the lock manually (they are very responsive). The pool + hot tub were a huge hit with the kids!

This is our 3rd time staying at this property and needless to say we love it there! We met the owner on this trip and he is very nice. We are excited to hear of the coming work to be done on the house as you can tell time has taken a toll on a few things...but overall the house is perfect. The views, the layout, the comfy beds, the wonderful linens! No complaints. Loved it!

What a wonderful weekend we had! We loved it so much for booking for next year. The house was lovely. We really enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. The view alone is worth the trip! We did place a call to Red Barn about some lights that were blown. They came right away and fixed them for us.

The view from peregrines perch is so beautiful. The house was very nice although there were some things that needed updated and repaired. The pool and hot tub were clean and comfortable. The dining table was large enough for our group of 18. The bedrooms were clean and bed's comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

50 th Wedding Anniversary Celebration with family

The house was as advertised and very clean. Sauna does not work and a minor issue with a shower handle was quickly resolved. This is truly the best view of the lake and we spent many blissful hours on one of the upper decks. Beautiful home impeccably furnished, well-stocked kitchen, and in a private setting. All 20 of us, 12 adults and 8 children were comfortable and had plenty of space. The kids loved the pool. It was a vacation that we will cherish in the years to come!

Great for Small Family Reunion

Deep Creek Lake, and this house, proved to be the perfect find for our family reunion. From variety of outdoor activities for different ages to bedroom layout and bonus features, it was clear everyone had a great time. The house is aging and has a few maintenance issues that need to be addressed by the owners, but the property management’s communications with us were among the best I’ve experienced among VRBO and similar services. I had complete confidence that if the gas grill’s propane tank turned out to be empty they would be on it immediately. Bottom line, very happy with the overall experience

House was clean and comfortable. It did rain and there were a few leaks that were annoying. Called to let the rental agency know, but they never got back to me. Pool and hot tub were working well. Great space for families with plenty of room. If there wasn't a leak over the dining room table, I would say it was close to perfect. Bedrooms upstairs get hot but the beds were comfortable. Overall, I give it a 4 out of 5.

I would like to start by saying that the property was great for our family gathering that included the celebration of my husband's birthday . The property provided us with the opportunity to utilize the wonderful pool and hot tube . The breathtaking views just added to our terrific stay at your property. We were able to find everything that we needed during our stay. The only issue we had was a housekeeping issue ( there was someone's dirty laundry left in one of the bedrooms). We found this to be such a great property, we would definitely be interested in booking another stay in the future. Excellent Location and Property

Absolutely superb location, overlooking Deep Creek Lake. The multiple bedrooms with walk out patios and decks are just an added bonus. We stayed here for a 70th birthday with about 20 people, ranging from 5 years to 75, and everyone had a blast. The heated pool for the kids during -20 degrees outside is worth paying every penny for. The property is older, and needs some minor updates, but the management is superb, and very open/perceptive to that feedback, and I expect it to be updated in no time. Plenty of parking, including a 2 car heated garage. The kitchen is huge and stacked with a 6 burner cooktop, microwave, small toaster oven, toaster, and 2 ovens. Tons and tons of space for everyone to enjoy!

Perspective from a meeting group

We had a very good experience at this lovely home. There were several places for our group as a whole as well as subgroups to meet and do the work of the group. The furniture in the main room was a little soft for those of us with "mature" backs, but the pillows were helpful. The location of the house, high up on a hill with a beautiful view and gorgeous sunrise each morning was quite the bonus as were periodic visits from the deer! We also thoroughly enjoyed the indoor pool, outdoor hot tub and fire pit. It was great to have towels and linens provided. I can certainly see us returning in the future. Thank you!

Great location but the house needs update and cleaning

The house is a great house but needs a major cleaning. The host charged so much for cleaning but we had stain on the sheets and bugs on the beds. I contacted the host and shared pictures but no one came to change the sheets. A lot of spider web outside and by the windows full of dead bugs that was clearly not cleaned for a while. We ended up washing the sheets and cleaning the house before using. Otherwise great location and view

On arrival one toilet was not clean. One lamp in family room without a plug, only one functioning pool table cue stick, one shower with broken handle, another shower with barely functional handle, sauna did not work ( did not heat), hard to open and close sliding door to hot-tub entrance. The view and house were fantastic! However, the temperature in the bottom floor were very cold at night. The Ovens need to be replaced with newer working models, because the bottom oven didn't work and we had food in there for over an hour before we realized it did not work. Also several "eyes" on the stove did not light automatically without having to add fire to it, which I was not comfortable with. Additionally, the fire place in the basement as well as the surround sound system did not work. Some toilet seats need to be replaced. To that end, the space is second to none. Well furnished, the beds slept very well, the view and patio as well as fire pits were great. The TV's and furnishing were great. I could lay on the couch in the main room all day long. I would definitely rent this home again and highly recommend.

Weekend Family Retreat!

Our family just wanted a cozy spot we could all gather and be comfortable. This home provided that. We were traveling with 15 adults, 2 teenagers, 3 kids, and 2 toddlers. Plenty of room to gather together or if you needed to hideout you could find a spot to go to be alone. Home is equipped with everything you need. We did go out and buy a few blankets for the pullouts but that was no big deal. Figuring out how to lock all the doors was a fun challenge but we figured that out too...lol Kids loved the pool. Adults spent both nights by the fire pit. Beautiful views. Family took pics of the sunrise over the lake that could have been postcards. Never needed to reach out to property management but I received texts and emails the entire stay just checking in and sending reminders. I will say linens were dropped off the day before our departure for the next guest and the person dropping them off wasn't too friendly. The house was perfect not sure if Deep Creek is an area we would return too though. Didn't get warm fuzzies from the local people there the few times we did have to venture out.

This house was spectacular! The view of the lake could not have been any better. There was so much space for our 7 couple group-everyone was able to have a big bedroom and a private bathroom. The amenities were fantastic: indoor pool, hot tub, fire pit, pool table, etc. The owner was great with helping to make sure that things were in working order. This has been our favorite place so far in Deep Creek!
