Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Nice location, beautiful house

It was a great stay for the Deep Creek Dunk. Very comfortable rooms and great amenities. Also, the access to shops right across the street was very nice.

When you order this on VRBO they subcontract it out to VCASA to manage. The following did not work:The internetThe fireplace A real estate agent came by to show the property. There was no warning of this as I sat in a hot tub on a family vacation

Nice place, good central location

Place was pretty clean, other than some dust & cobwebs behind the bookshelf that the router was on (more about that later). Kitchen and bathrooms were updated and very nice. The bed in the upstairs master BR was comfortable. Had an issue with cable TV reception and wifi was not connecting to the internet. Tried rebooting the router a few times the first night. The next morning, I moved the bookcase to look at the wires/cables and saw that there was a splitter for the cable coming in (along with some dust and cobwebs). One split went to the router, the other to the TV. I unplugged the splitter cable from the wall, then plugged the router cable directly into the wall and that gave us internet through wifi. We didn't have cable TV then, but we were able to stream the channels we wanted over wifi. I put the cables back to how they were when we got there. Someone may want to check to see if the splitter is bad, or if there needs to be a signal booster to allow both the cable TV and the internet on the router to work at the same time. It was nice to walk down to the coffee/pastry shop for breakfast, and also easy to rent kayaks right there too. I would go back again, especially if we have a few more people going with us next time (it was just my wife and me this time). Plenty of room for three couples, or a family with a few kids.

Cleanliness was not to our satisfactory and entrance into the home was not easy.

*The property was much smaller in person than it appeared online. *There was a spider infestation in the basement, which minimized our usage of that bathroom. *The doors that lead to the balcony, in the living room area did not lock which was a security issue for us. *The windows, cabinets and headboards on the beds were not clean. *The entrance in and out of our rental property was not easy to access. We were locked out of our facility on (10/22/2022) for almost two hours. The multiple codes that were given to me did not work! We just so happen to enter in a WRONG code and gained access.

Great get away.

Super comfortable place to stay. Kitchen has everything you need, if you are going to cook. Bathroom are clean, bed are made, everything looked really nice! I would definitely go back!

Please don't publish my comments. Great place but saw a number of field mice in lower floor and in beds. Ruin the the day before we were to leave and left at 3PM.

Dirty and Misrepresented

This property was highly misrepresented. It was advertised as premier!!! The entire unit needs to be repainted. The walls were so dirty and damaged. The carpets were beyond acceptable with large stains in numerous areas. The downstairs had vomit on the floor. Spiders were in all rooms. There were gummy worms and cheerios under the bunk beds which told me that it had not been vacummed. Hairs were on the toilets and sinks. The walls had been spackled in the bathroom and not painted. The bar stool upholstery was so dirty that my grandchildren were supposed to sit on when eating.. The place smelled moldy and mildewy. We had to by air freshners. Housekeeping had to come out the evening we arrived. I reported this by text message to the housekeeping manager and also to the main manager. I have yet to hear back about any compensation for the inaccuracies and the dirty rental. We were even charged a $45 fee for the hot tub and you can believe we didn't even go near it after seeing the lack of cleanliness of the inside of the rental. Trash was piled up around the dumpsters. The grounds had not been taken care of with overgrown weeds and shrubbery. We learned from local businesses that these townhomes were known by the locals as a party area, which probably explained the vomit. I have stayed at various VRBO rentals this past year or so and this place was not even near in the same class as the others. It is obvious that the owners only want to collect rent and not do any repairs, which is so greedy. The shape of this rental did not happen overnight, it has been neglected for quite some time.

Nice But....

Overall the property was clean and suited our purposes with a great location. However, the unit could use some refreshing with new paint and general repairs to towel racks , entranceway decking and gas grill. We also could not find a broom to sweep away the leaves of the overgrown tree/bush in front. And it would make sense to have a full size trash can in the kitchen rather than the small one provided. Small things do matter.

Great Family Getaway

This was our family's first time to Deep Creek and we loved it! We will be coming back for sure!! The house was super clean and big enough to accommodate our family of 7 adults and 1 baby. I loved the master bedroom being on the top floor - it was huge and so was the bathroom. I could not believe how much space the downstairs bedrooms had (plus there were 2 more full bathrooms on that level, as well a laundry room) The upstairs living area seated all of us comfortably and we ALL loved the recliners on the end:) We spent each morning out on the deck having coffee and cinnamon buns from Trader Joe's, a short walk away from the house. Brenda's pizza was so good, we went back twice! We all agreed that dinner at Pine Lodge Steakhouse fantastic and some of the best food we have ever had. We did axe throwing, rented jet skis and a pontoon boat and went on a hayride that ended with a bonfire. There was some highway traffic noise, and full views of the lake are obscured by the trees, but it was not a deal breaker. We are already planning our next visit and will definitely stay here again!!

Can’t wait to Return!

We had a great time at DCL and the condo was just about perfect. Easy booking and check in; Very clean and comfortable. Plenty of linens, towels and kitchen well stocked. We did run out of dishwasher tablets and their was a complaint that the water in the downstairs showers could have been hotter. We loved the hot tub and location convenient to skiing, restaurants and shopping. View of the lake was beautiful. Highly recommended!

Worked well for our short visit

Comfy, inviting and well laid out -- master suite upper, main level is open kitchen/living with fireplace and balcony (great view!), half bath' and lower level is 2/2, w/d, hot tub. A short side-- we had planned to eat out, so no problem; but kitchen supplies are spotty (disorganized, and didn't even include salt/pepper -- which we left). Close to 219/ expected traffic noise. We'd stay again.

Deep Creek first-timers

This was our first time at DCL, but we have stayed in many vrbos. The property was clean and centrally located. Unfortunately, you have to cross a very busy street to get to the water. The water access is a private marina, handy for kayak rentals but no place to swim. The traffic noise is quite loud. The house itself has dated furnishings and a mishmash of dish ware. There are cracks in the ceilings and a lack of general upkeep. Despite the use of a dehumidifier, the basement bedrooms smelled of mildew. We were provided with three trash bags, three dishwasher tablets, and three rolls of toilet paper—not nearly enough for a week’s stay. Most vrbos stock basic spices, e.g., salt, pepper, oil—there were none. The internet is very slow. The gas grill was handy to have and my family enjoyed the hot tub. You can see the water from the deck but the traffic noise really diminishes the experience. Brenda’s pizza was quite good, as was the coffee shop which are within walking distance. Kayak and SUP rental was also quite convenient. Overall, the property was centrally located and clean, but given the price, the traffic noise , overall dated furnishings, and lack of water access this is not a property we will be returning to.

Beautiful home and views

We really liked this town home. It’s accessible to the lake (right across the street), and the view of the lake is really lovely. You can tell this property is well loved and taken care of. Would highly recommend!

My oldest son attends WVU and we had the the opportunity to spend the weekend together along w my 16 year old. The condo was clean and well equipped. The decor was updated and the overall space was roomy!

Quick Getaway

This house was pretty awesome. Except the outlets in one of the bedrooms stopped working and we could not figure out how to get them back. Tried resetting everything and couldnt get it. House is in a great location and has a great mountain vacation vibe. Would definitely stay there again.
