"It was a charming room in a great location. The room was clean and comfortable. It was a bit warm in the room. The location was great and made it easy to explore town. Parking was not close to the hotel and it could be problematic if you have mobility issues."

"The hotel was charming and highlighted the historic nature of the town. We really enjoyed the concept of books lining the walls which added a uniqueness to the experience. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us. We also enjoyed the complimentary buffet breakfast which featured a large selection of delicious food. We also enjoyed ginja at the bar! Our only recommendation would be that the hotel replace the worn carpet leading up the stairs, otherwise, our one night stay was wonderful."

"The resort is exactly as described, clean, bright and comfortable. My husband golfed one day and I walked to the beach (approximately 40 minutes each way) You could swim in the lagoon but the ocean side was wild and looked dangerous but it is a spectacular beach. The course was excellent condition, bunkers nice and greens were fast. A fairly challenging layout. It’s quite the drive to get to the resort but don’t worry, you’ll get there 😆 Overall a great experience!"

"Located outside the Castle Walls, but well situation for a quiet evening in Obidos. The rooms and whole home were impeccably clean, the breakfast was wonderful and the whole stay was unforgettable. The history of this home and charachter are once in a lifetime."

"Beautiful setting at the Beachfront area. Great walking, beach, and golf experience. Friendly staff and restaurant folks. Stunning views of the beach and highlands. Thank you for the full moon! Some restaurants and shops closed Sunday/Monday so plan your needs. Lovely stay. Very relaxing."

"We stayed in the castle 3 years ago and this was the only place on our return trip to Portugal that we had to revisit. We stayed in a suite this time and loved it. Bed is a bit short though. Breakfast is included and is totally worth it. Plenty of selections."
