Cool and rustic. Good breakfast included and the room was unique and large. We liked that the location was close to the town of Obidos but away from the crowds during the holidays. Wish we could have enjoyed the pool and outdoors more but it was winter. Still, very different and the staff were all very kind and friendly. Alfonso particularly went out of his way to help us out a lot.

A genuine oasis of tranquility with Michelin style cuisine are reasonable prices. Ideally located between the west coast beaches and the medieval village of Obidos. The accommodation is very cafefully considered - genuinely thibk they should market the units. Felt very comfortable here.

Loved this place. So unique and peaceful. If you like organic architecture this is amazingly curious and fascinating. Suites are large and comfortable. Can’t wait to come back!

It’s a great concept with high potential. Maybe it was nice when it was new 10 years ago but maintenance is poor. Also the restaurant is really slow, food is OK. Don’t do the tasting menu - it was slow, cold and more like an afterthought for the staff. Some items OK but most just bland and over cold. Maybe the kitchen had a bad day the night we are there, but boy it felt like the tasting menu was just a way to offload some stuff they didn’t sell. I know it’s harsh but sadly true. Needless to say I would.not recommend to now. But if they renovate or at least fix what is annoyingly broken - like doors won’t close, floor board popping out etc. Then it would be acceptable. It felt like they just didn’t care.

It was difficult to find. No sign on not easily identifiable place. We came to the parking lot, did not recognize it as a hotel and spend an hour navigating narrow streets and calling to hotel until finally managed to came back. Person on the phone was extremely patient and helpful. Property was unusual but stylish. Room was rather dilapidated, Shower and toilet in two different places. Toilet door did not close fully and had a hole where the lock supposed to be. Two sinks located in the room between shower and toilet were misaligned and some water did not drain completely. And there was an unusual bathtub in the middle of the room, rather useless and trauma hazard. There was no window that can be open and the only way to let the fresh air was to open sliding front door. It can be secured from intrusion be propping with large wood slub provided as bedside table.

Lindo hotel. Servico com Altos e baixos.

A arquitetura e a decoracao do hotel sao deslumbrantes. O quarto é muito charmoso, com banheira e lareira (mas piso bastante deteriorado). O restaurante com musica ao vivo sao outros pontos altos. Lamento que o staff nao tenha sido minimamente cortês, nem no check in nem no check out. Nem bom dia, nem boa viagem... parece q estamos a entrar num estacao de serviço, nao num hotel de categoria

O local é bem bonito, afastado do centro de Óbidos. O restaurante do hotel é bom. Muito bom café da manhã. O quarto é espaçoso e bem decorado. A cama extra é horrível. O ponto fraco é o banheiro. Um box muito pequeno, separado e sem um gancho sequer para uma toalha. O outro espaço tem um vaso sanitário sem ducha higiênica. Dentro do quarto ficam os lavatórios. Não é prático, além de ser sem nenhuma privacidade. A área externa é bonita, apesar de muito rústica. Para quem gosta de natureza é uma boa opção.

Má relação qualidade-preço, não vale o valor pago por noite. Apesar de ser um local bonito e muito agradável, com staff simpático, o design sobrepõe-se ao conforto. Por exemplo, o único local confortável para estar no quarto é a cama, as cadeiras do restaurante são muito desconfortáveis, assim como a banheira do quarto. A porta original do quarto está desativada (com fios do sistema de chave por cartão à vista), o que obriga a pisar a relva (e lama, caso chova) para entrar no quarto pelas portas de correr envidraçadas. Quanto à limpeza, ao acordar de manhã e ao dar uma volta reparamos em copos de gin na biblioteca e chávenas de café na estufa...

Boa experiência mas não idílica.

Estadia correu bem, mas não superou as nossas espextativas Designer arrojado e conceito interesante mas com falta de alguns promenores. Potencial para ser um local idílico. Aparente falta de investimento para otimizar. Mordidas de insetos bem visíveis no corpo (nada de transcendente quando incluído no meio rural, mas...). Biblioteca a muito bonita. Boa comida. Bom atendimento. Insonorização insuficiente.
