Saturday night in Obsteig

Beautiful area, of course we're in Austria! Traffic through the Fernepass was atrocious, which is right near Obsteig. Construction was in process across the road from hotel and the trucks that traveled the road all night that our room overlooked were very loud. No A/C so leaving windows open was a must. The furnishings looked to be very fancy in the 1930's, part of it's charm. Everything was very clean, though feather pillows need a little more stuffing. Loved the balcony for every room. Also, we loved the Weisbeer at the restaurant and the man running the hotel and resteraunt was nice. The pictures for the resort spa may be a bit outdated too. Spa seemed deserted and inactive. All in all not worth the expensive price tag. Same price as the Goldene Rose in Lechaschau which was no comparison.

Freundliches Personal. Gemütliche und modern eingerichtete Sauna und ein Innenpool wo man entspannen kann. Die Zimmer sind groß und sauber. Das Bett könnte neue Matratzen vertragen. Frühstück war gut und auch a la Carte kann man im Restaurant sehr lecker essen.
