Blue Skye's Beach House is a custom built, ocean front beach retreat radiating charm and timeless elegance... Offering unobstructed views of rhythmic waves and gorgeous sunsets, Blue Skye's is just steps from the Pacific Ocean. Follow the natural carved path located right out of the back door, straight to the beach for endless fun - then return home to enjoy all of the comforts this "home away from home" offers. Bathed in natural light and incredible ocean views at every turn, this home has private exits from bedrooms and gathering spaces in both front and back for a twilight fire or simply watching the waves. Winter get away

Blue Skies Beach house is a wonderful place to stay. There were 10 of us and we had plenty of room and comfy king size beds. The view is great - across the dunes to the ocean. The kitchen is well stocked and the host was very easy to communicate with. We had a great time!

Perfect fit for extended family

This is a great house for a large gathering of families with kids. They loved the game room, which gave the adults separate space to relax and visit. There was also plenty of room when we all gathered for meals. The beds and bedding were a hit with everyone. So comfy!

Perfect Family Reunion Weekend

This house was perfect for our extended family. It had everything we needed from kitchen equipment to beach wagons. Everyone said the beds were comfortable. Loved being able to walk to the beach, although it’s worth noting it’s not a short walk so those with limited mobility may want to drive. It’s pricey, but worth it for a chance to all be together under the same roof!

Beautiful views

Great stay! We were there for a week for spring break. Not a great beach for beach combing but is a nice beach. House rules are a little overboard! Had a filter on when I booked for a hot tub they considered a jetted master bath tub a hot tub! Long Beach was a very cute town with lots to offer. Dylan’s bakery was amazing!

Great time at the beach.

Loved the house. We did find a pair of men’s shorts under one of the beds. Neighbors dog dumped on the patio once :( We did only bring one dog but paid for 2. Do we get a refund for the other one? We would love to stay next year around the same time. I put a request but have not heard back.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was my first experience renting a home for a family gathering and it was flawless. The location was great and the house excellent. It was immaculate and very comfortable. The kids especially enjoyed the mix of games the days it rained. The large meeting area in the living room was a place for the adults to visit. I couldn't suggest any changes to improve the house or the process. We had an excellent stay and look forward to doing it again one day.

Family Week at the Beach

We had a family group of 10 at the house for a week, and everyone enjoyed their stay. The house is just as nice as the pictures show, and every room was clean upon arrival. Positives: Plenty of room to spread out around the house. All beds were wonderful and felt brand new! Linens were plenty, of good quality, and clean. The views from the top floor are gorgeous, and from the ground floor are pretty great as well. You can watch the sunset from the back porch. The kitchen was well stocked and nearly every utensil, pot, pan or appliance you need is there (though no ladle?). They even had some crab crackers and shucking knives. The washer and dryer are huge. I will say, if one could somehow turn off the alert music on the dryer, it would be appreciated by most that follow :) The basement was probably the second most used room after the kitchen. The bedroom has 2 queen beds and a full closet and dresser, and still felt big. The full bath downstairs is large and convenient. The pop-a-shot game was a hit for all, and I was told by one of our more informed group members that the foosball table was of very good quality (which is great because we used it a lot). The fridge, pool table, and ping pong table as well as library of DVDs were all pluses. Cons: A few rooms could use more storage or hanging options for clothes. Overall, it was a great home and we had a great time. Would recommend to anyone wanting a nice, quiet, well appointed, largeplace to stay at the beach.

Perfect Spot for Family Reunion

We loved our stay here! The house perfect for hosting so many people, every need was met, the manager Kim was amazing and very thoughtful. The kitchen was fully stoked (a rarity at a rental) and it was close to a lot of fun things to take our east coast family to. Highly recommended. Fantastic family vacation

We were so fortunate to stay at Blue Skye’s Beach House. We were greeted by four eagles on their perches in the beautiful dunes and grass. The wonderful home provided a relaxing “home-base“ for exploring the coast and was appointed beautifully down to the last detail. On some very rainy days we thoroughly enjoyed just staying in the home together playing games and watching movies. We’ve had a yearly family tradition of visiting the coastal towns of Washington and Oregon for spring break and this home is one of the best, if not THE BEST home in which we have stayed.

Layout of house was great. Nicely furnished bedrooms and well-arranged common areas for meals and relaxing. Our group enjoyed the beach front views and access, as well as the quiet and private location. Kids had a great time in the game room. Super Clean, Well-appointed Beach House

We had a wonderful getaway to this lovely beach home. It accommodated our family so well. Full of games and comfortable spots to hang out, it was the perfect location for our large crew. Check in was very easy with Kim communicating well via email/messaging prior and she generously offered an early check in. She left lovely welcoming touches with a note and gift. The home is located along beautiful dune area just a short walk to the sandy beach and ocean. We loved walking the long beachfront, even on a very windy day. Some of our family members were happy to stay back and relax at the house.The kitchen was the most well equipped kitchen of any home we have ever rented. The abundance of dishes, cooking pans, pots, and appliances really made things very easy. The additional refrigerator on the lower level made things very convenient. The home was very welcoming to our dog and we truly appreciated that. However beyond the dog supplies, you would never know another animal had been in this house. It was incredibly clean and in fantastic condition!The beds were heavenly. Truly some of the most comfortable places we have laid our heads, We loved having so many full bathrooms giving lots of space for all of our adult kids to spread out. We will happily rent this home again. We would like to see the town of Longbeach in the summer on a sunny day. Thank you Kim for hosting us.
