Myers Beachhouse

We absolutely enjoy staying at this location. The property is great, the unit we stayed in was perfect for our family and the communication with the property owner was great. From booking to checking out was really easy. Location is walking distance to beach and close driving distance to several restaurants in the area.

Beach getaway

We stayed at the Meyers Beach house for three nights. The beach was a few blocks away. The Cup coffee shop is very close, and the food/coffee was terrific.

Clean, bright, roomy apartment in a great location!

My husband, toddler and I had a great stay here! It’s walking distance from lots of great Oceanside cafes/restaurants/shops, as well as the beach. Having a garage to park in was a real plus in this area. Neighborhood was quiet and felt safe, and the apartment was clean and bright with all the amenities we needed.

An Easy walk to the Oceanside pier

Quick getaway

This was a wonderful respite on a long road trip. Great location so we could spend lots of time walking along and enjoying the beach. Great communication with the host and everything in order as it appeared on the listing. Nice quiet neighborhood Only wish we had more time here.

Great little beach getaway

We have stayed in 3 of the units at Myers beach house and all of them are great! Clean, comfortable and always have everything we need. Laney is great and is very responsive and accommodating. I couldn't recommend Myers Beach house enough!

Perfect weekend

This apartment is just as advertised. Clean and well-equipped. Walking distance to many shops, restaurants and amenities. Checking in and out was easy and Laney was responsive, although we had no issues to contact her about during the stay.

Cozy

This property was very welcoming and cozy. Though a bit small for my preteen kids and 2 adults, it was great for the short bit of time we spent there. Kitchen (pots, pans, plates, etc) and closets (towels, blankets, sunscreen) were pretty well equipped. The "adult bed" was a little uncomfortable but was still able to sleep just fine. The host does take a bit longer to respond to inquires, but nothing bad enough to degrade a star over. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Close to Ocean

This was a good location for beach access. The property was clean and inside the complex felt very safe. It provided enough space for my family of 5. My boys really enjoyed the boogie boards! It was very close to the ocean and you could hear the waves from the unit! Communication with Laney was easy and responsive.

Pleasant Beach Stay

We had a wonderful time at Oceanside. The property was a great place for us. It was clean and very presentable. The ease to find and the location was excellent. It was so quiet and peaceful. The night ocean breeze was so nice to have at night. We had excellent communication with the owner as well as the property manager. They were very friendly and kind. The property was walking distance to most places especially the beach although a short drive is all you needed. It was a great experience and worth repeating.

Great location, unit could be a little better

The location of this place is perfect. It's a short walk to the beach and you can hear the ocean. Downside is that there's no air conditioning and there's these plexi glass panels on the balcony that completely block the breeze. I do not recommend staying here in the summer! It was 90 when we stayed here and it was very hot in the unit, even at night. The bed in one bedroom was hard and uncomfortable. If it's cooler weather and you don't mind a firm mattress, this is a great stay!

Our trip to Oceanside

We loved to stay at Myers Beach House. The apartment (we stayed in Unit D) is fantastic and very comfortable for a party of five. The ocean view from the balcony is amazing and I really miss falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the waves. In walking distance is the beach and Oceanside downtown with shops, restaurants and a cinema. Don’t miss Sunset Market every Thursday. Communication with Laney worked perfectly. Thank you so much! If we ever visit Oceanside again we would definitely stay here again.

I was looking for a clean, reliable property near the water. This fits the bill. Two bedrooms, secured garage parking, a reasonably supplied kitchen, and the sound of the ocean audible at night. It's an easy walk to the pier and downtown, which we did several times. There's a good coffee shop at Tremont and Minnesota with lots of outdoor seating. The only issue was that the wifi was a little spotty. Not a problem for streaming video, because of the built-in buffering, but more of a problem if you're trying to do live Zoom calls. But then again, you shouldn't be doing Zoom calls on your vacation. Don't be like me.

Making Memories

We came for a memorial in Carlsbad. It was myself, my teenage son, my dog and my mom. It was very pleasant little place tucked into a cozy quiet and safe neighborhood close to everything we needed and just a short drive to our destination. It was exactly as advertised. It fit us all nicely and even plenty of room for a family that may be even bigger. I likes that it was gated in securely on both entrances. Like I said it was also safe at all hours, because yes we were able to go out and walk the dog around the neighborhood and go the beach even at midnight and still feel safe. It was perfect for family meals and movie nights and beach days. Although the sandy beach was a little walk, we didn't mind it. We got plenty of exercise and plenty of beach. Even used the grill in the patio for making sliders one night. Although we weren't there for the happiest of occasions it was delightful to get away and much needed beach therapy. We thourally enjoyed our stay at the Meyers unit D. Would definitely love to come back and be a repeat customer. Laney was very easy to communicate and replied quickly. We did not have any issues other than a slider screen door missing and just wanted to make her aware and she was very quick to reply and apologize and let us know it was currently being replaced. We were still able to keep the door open for the breeze and didn't have any problems with bugs coming in. Thanks again for making our stay enjoyable. It's always nice to have a home away from home
