Awesome place to stay when you’re in Oceanside the staff was very accommodating over text. Would definitely stay here again. Hopefully there will be availability in the front two units on the beach.

The onsite manager made up for everything! I couldn't be mad after receiving the help from her! I do have to say that the oven nor the microwave worked, the shower pooled water as if stopped up or some type of plumbing issue, and it was very cold in the unit. During the winter months, when temps drop at night, there needs to be two GOOD working heaters or you will freeze. It was hard to stay in a sour mood about that because the view was spectacular and it had clean linen and towels for you to use on a beach visit. You will spend most of your time out of the unit because the location is prime but when you do go back in to settle down, it just needs a little improvement.

The location is wonderful with the beautiful views of the ocean and listening to the waves crashing was so awesome! It’s very walkable to everything we wanted to see in the area. The “Old O’side Charm” of this property with updated interior made it the perfect stay for my sister and I to relive some of our childhood memories. Excellent communication through text. Would definitely stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Pacific Villas. The view, the accommodations, the 1:1 communication via text was prompt and helpful. We could get in the water if we wished because it wasn’t contaminated. Parking was designated and free. Location was amazing. The pier nearby was great.

I loved being so close to the beach. The condo was clean and comfortable. There was a lot of noise coming from the upstairs unit really late into the night which was annoying. Would stay again in a different unit.

The location was nice. It was a bit colder than we would have figured and there was only a space heater. The bedroom could use more electric outlets. There was some neighboring construction going one that is going to make the area nicer than it already is. We enjoyed the area and the location overall

The view is outstanding ;very quiet ;easy access to the beach to the pier ;great restaurants,- small cottage but very efficient. Very, very clean. Just a recommendation to the owner -the move the refrigerator hinges to the opposite side u have to be careful. You can hit your head on the cabinet above.!

Nice Oceanside beach bungalow

Nice little place, very comfy for 2. Just across the road from the rocky beach. Very pleasant to hear the sound of waves rolling the rocks back and forth. The road is busy with pedestrian, bike, and one way 10mph car traffic and makes for great people watching from the deck. Easy walk to downtown Oceanside and the pier.

Absolutely Beautiful!

This is an amazing property with a spectacular view of the ocean. It sits directly across the street from the beach which actually disappears during high tide and the waves crash against the break right in front of the property! Sleep with the windows open and hear the waves all night, it’s awesome! The condo is small but very comfortable and clean. Walking distance from all the shops, bars and restaurants in the downtown area. The street in front is popular for biking, walking, running and low speed cruising. From the deck you can see ocean for miles. I definitely recommend this property for an authentic Oceanside stay!

Amazing spot

Amazing location. Couldn’t be better if you tried. My brother and I took a short trip here from Colorado and really enjoyed the closeness of the water and the beach. The property is so kind and responsive and gave personalized recommendations. Laundry is available free of charge and parking is so easy. Only complaint, which is not particularly something they can help, but the walls are paper thin. We had a crying child next door and someone who was awake at 3 am walking around, dropping things… despite the many quiet hour reminders posted around the room and on the website. Overall an amazing stay. You won’t regret it as long as your neighbors are kind.

It was a nice location and the property was pretty well maintained. The insulation between rooms was not good. I was in #6 and the people above me woke up at midnight with 2 alarms and it sounded like it was in my room. When I tried rest later in the day the maids came and the vacuuming was so loud above us. It is definitely an older building without any sound barrier between the top and bottom floor. I really liked the location, if only I could sleep through the elephants upstairs.

I had an excellent time. The view of ocean was breathtaking and so healthy. The vibe is very high in the day time; people love nature and you get share the vibrations of collective enjoyment. Oysters were my to go desire; several food options. You can walk all over and get what you need or short distance travel. Everything was vacation approved. You can park on street as well or assigned spot. The balcony is a big plus with the view. Towels are available and basic hygiene wash. Helps that they have outdoor shower after beach; washer and dryer; kitchen helps with cooking meals too. People are friendly so its easy to make friends if you talk to people. LA is about 1.5 hrs away so went there too early daytime. The beach is something else; I can still hear the strong waves. The place and owners of property were all together a masterpiece. Thank You.

The Pacific Villas are a 10 minute walk from the beach and pier, which is nice. The walk is on a traffic-filled street, and it seemed like there was constant road traffic. When we first got there, there was a definite smell of cat in the place. Be aware that only units 1 and 2 have a full-front ocean view, the other units are only partial view. During our stay, there was frequent noise from the unit above, both late at night and early in the morning. The dishes were dirty and the pots didn't have matching lids, and the kitchen, though convenient, is very small and there is one cupboard with a corner right at eye level so be careful when moving around in the tight space. The rest of the space was clean, but the pillows were very stiff and left my neck and head aching every morning (we spent 4 nights). The windows and doors were very sound proof, and the balcony was a nice space to take in the ocean breeze. I'd say this place was an 'okay' place to stay, but I will not stay there again.

Mixed Bag - Big Plus Location, Location, Location

We stayed in Unit 6. Positives: the location is terrific, across the street from the ocean. It is a breakwater so no beach access, but a short walk to access. It's in close proximity to downtown - a lot of restaurants and bars, Thursday Night Market, and a movie theater. We used the car only once. Not so good parts: It's very small and very efficient. The kitchen has the basics - with 2 very scratched Teflon frying pans. Not safe to use. A dishrack would be helpful. There wasn't a tissue box. We learned at checkout that the laundry room has a number of supplies. Wished we had known sooner. (A plus was that coffee, sugar and creamer was provided along with a coffeemaker). The unit has a plugin electric heater, but with only one dedicated outlet. It was difficult to heat up the bedroom. There was only one outlet in the bedroom used by the bed lamps. There was an extension cord with one outlet available. Unit 6 doesn't have a dedicated parking space and GPS takes you to the Strand entrance, but street parking is on Park St. Very confusing. A parking pass is provided. We hope they update the Unit 6 info provided for check-in. The sofa bed was terrible. We reported at the end of our visit as we didn't think there was anything that could be done. The frame had a broken off support bar at the top, and took a lot of modifications on our part to make it useable. It was our bad that we didn't report things sooner.
