This place was very easy to find, we were traveling down from Auckland and needed somewhere to stay. This was the perfect spot for needing a quick shower and overnight sleep. Front desk was super helpful and ready for our stay even tho we reserved the room online a couple hours before arriving.

Great spot. The Honey Loft was a great place to relax. Beach access across the street. Quiet. OK, you could hear the waves breaking, but that was nice.

An excellent facility, rooms clean and well appointed. very friendly efficient staff, could not have been better.

You can go camping or you can go “glamping” and still be on the campground and on the beach with the sounds and view of the ocean! I so enjoyed my “surf shack” - which felt like a 5-star apartment - and hot tub. Clean and with all amenities. This place is great for kids of all ages! Very friendly and helpful staff. Regrettably - I had to leave a day alert - as I was trying to get ahead of coming storm.

Very clean and beautiful rooms. Also beautiful restaurant, fantastic when I paid for add-on breakfast - best breakfasts of whole NZ trip. They do not provide clean bed sheets daily fyi. The dinners were also fantastic and the view from the rooms was fantastic. Difficult if you have any sort of knee or ankle issue - lots of very steep uphill, lots of stairs. Jessica and I stayed with David and Tatiana and could not have been more impressed or pleased with our stay. The B&B is incredibly clean, wifi was free, and breakfast was amazing. David and Tatiana are excellent hosts, we felt welcome to sit around and chat or free to keep to ourselves. We opt'd to chat and had a great night and breakfast with good conversation. House and grounds are wonderful as is the owner Andy. Everything one could need is here. The breakfast was superb. Quiet, peaceful and every amenity taken care of. After a day on the water at Poor Knights this was a welcomed retreat. Dinner prepared optionally or at their suggestion we picked up fabulous fish and chips and ate outside on the patio. Perfect ending to a perfect day Thank you. We will definitely be back!

Excellent stay. We were in the ocean view corner room. Terrific view. Samantha, one of the care takers, was exceptional, as was Andy, another staff/owner. Warm reception, all needs taken care of, clean comfortable room, with a great bed.

Free laundry and towel warmer for shower. Complete kitchen capabilities, very well done.

Great room, spotlessly clean, fresh cup of hot tea brought to my room on arrival. Great little town square area of restaurants and pubs just a 2 minutes drive down the street. Would stay again with no hesitation.
