This hotel set the new standard for my wife to travel to Japan now. It is sit right below Inuyama castle and the hot spring is just perfect after all day out. A solid hotel option in Gifu. Easy check in, hassle-free, good rooms. The carpet was a little stained, but everything else was otherwise great. Didn't pay for the breakfast buffet they offer (1,200 yen), so can't comment on that. Pretty good location in Gifu. The only stressful thing was parking. This is the nicest hotel I think we've ever stayed in, and we travel a bit. I don't think I've ever stayed anywhere, regardless of price or rating, where there wasn't some small thing a bit off -- even five-star hotel rooms have some gross dusty corner, if you look hard enough.
