It was a great stay for me&my wife. We had stayed for two nights. Cveta was very friendly and she was a great host. Definitely recommend Villa Ohrid. Hope to be back again.

I was here last September and loved the place. The views from the balcony are amazing. The owners were always very nice and pleasant. They helped whenever i asked. Its a 15 minute walk to Ohrid lake. 15 minutes from St. Johns church. And 5 minutes from the ancient theater. My unit came complete wit dishes, glasses, a stove top, and cooking utensils. I highly recommend this hotel.

The room I had faced Lake Ohrid. It was amazing to wake up and have coffee on the balcony. Except for hearing an occassional yell from a boat, the area is so quiet. You're up on a hill so you overlook the lake and the town. It was a great view. The room was just what you would want. A shower and attached bathroom. Two beds and a balcony. There is also a kitchen down the hall for community use which had a coffee pot, dishes, pots, pans and silverware. I really enjoyed this hotel and the entire area. Go see lake Ohrid before its over run by tourists. This place is a little gem you find once in a while.

Excellent value with amazing lake view from rooms!

The Ohrid lake view from the balcony of these rooms is amazing. I've stayed here several times now and it has always been excellent. Highly recommended for inexpensive stay. The place is quiet, convenient & clean. Wifi is great. The host is friendly, generous and available should you need anything. Thank you, Cveta! AAAAA+++++

Great apartment with a great view

We stayed in the ground floor apartment and it was perfect for us (couple + 1 year old) with plenty of space and everything we needed. The view was amazing. The host, Cveta, was great: she quickly found another cot when the original one provided was too small for our son, gave us fresh raspberries from the garden during our stay and was generally really friendly. Particularly for the price, this is a great place to stay in Ohrid (as long as you can walk up and down hills!)

Burası Ohrid Gölünü ve Ohrid şehrini görebileceğiniz en iyi manzaraya sahip ev. Oda gayet yeterli büyüklükte. Ortak mutfak var. Sabah erken saatlerde yemek yaparsanız sorun olmuyor ama 9dan sonra diğer insanlar ile birlikte mutfağı kullanmak sıraya sebep oluyor. Evde tek eleştirebileceğim nokta yatak rahat değildi. Ev sahibi hanım tüm ihtiyacımızı sorunsuzca karşıladı. Gezilecek yerleri tek tek anlattı çok iyi bir insan.

Incredible view of Lake Ohrid from this villa!

Beautiful lake view from patio and front room. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The very kind host is generous and communication with her is excellent. Everything you need for a European Old Town experience is here.

This was such an excellent place to stay! Close enough to the old town that I could walk wherever I wanted to go; super comfortable bed; and truly stunning views from the terrace. Everything was clean and comfortable, and for a great price. The hostess is also one of the kindest people and really made this a great trip. Wish I would have stayed longer here!

Nice view over the old town and harbour

OK flat to stay in. How much can you expect for that price? We had the flat in the attic. Nice view from the balcony. Pitched roof, so be aware! Maybe difficult if you are taller than 180 cm. The bed could have been better, but it all comes back to the fact that it’s cheap.

We stayed at the villa for 3 nights, and fell in love with the city. It’s located in the old town, just 10 min walk from the center square. There’re restaurants nearby and it’s so quiet in the neighborhood. The hostess was so generous and kind, and the place is really spacious and clean. We also had the best view of the lake. Very recommended!

Perfect location in Ohrid, beautiful view!

A perfect place to spend some days in Ohrid! The view from the balcony is worth the stay itself! The hosts are very helpful and where always there if you needed something. The location is perfect, right next to the amphitheater. 10 min to walk down to the city center. Many nice restaurants just 4-5 min away. Also close to walk down to the church on the cliff and the beaches there. The apartment is clean and have everything you need. Perfect stay!

Vi havde bestilt et værelse til to voksne og et barn. Da vi så værelset besluttede vi os for ikke at bruge det, men at finde et andet sted at overnatte. Værelset var meget kedeligt og spartansk. Der var en lille altan, hvor man netop kunne se vandet. Vi tog ned til kystpromenaden og fandt med det samme et værelse, med smuk udsigt over byen og bugten. Det kostede næsten ikke mere en værelset, vi havde set på.

absolutely lovely

Villa Ohrid is the ideal place to stay in this most beautiful of locations in the relatively undiscovered Country of Macedonia(at least by the British).My wife and I had the Panoramic Apartment for a week-and wish we were still there. The view from the apartment and on the balcony is sensational-with the old town and the lake below. The best view we have had anywhere. The Panoramic apartment has its own small kitchen which is a bonus-as the other apartments share a kitchen on the ground floor. Not that we needed to eat in much-with so many superb and good value restaurants throughout the town. Gladiator just along the road is excellent-and only 1 minute to walk there. Cveta the host was really welcoming-even though we arrived 4 hours late at midnight due to plane delays. She even offered to make us something to eat after a long day-which we declined as she has enough to do already-but nothing was too much trouble. . If you are looking for a holiday with a difference-with superb scenery, food and lovely people then head for Ohrid in Macedonia-and book an apartment at Villa Ohrid. It feels like a private bolt hole away from the world. You will not regret it. We will be back-like so many others before. Jeff and Coral

Amazing views over Ohrid

Great stay at the apartment. Friendly owners. Fab view from the balcony. Just be warned if tall bathroom ceiling is low.
