"The hotel is located right beside the river, in downtown Winnipeg. It’s in a nice quiet location along a beautiful walking trail. The boutique hotel is a good size and tasteful decorated. The rooms are clean and comfortable. My room had a rainfall shower. The towels were nice and thick and a really good size. There is limited on site parking however we parked on the street. Around 5:00 pm we had to park a few blocks away and drive around to find a spot. At 11:00 pm we parked right near the hotel and no issues finding a spot to park. I really loved the quiet location beside the Red River. The staff were friendly and helpful. They had really nice bathroom products. The price is excellent for the room. It was my second time staying there and I will be back again. "

"The Fort Garry is a lovely old hotel. It’s fun just walking through the lobby. The Oval Room is a lovely place to have a nightcap. Our room was pleasant and very clean. The bed was comfortable. We’ll be back."

"The location is perfect in the heart of downtown Winnipeg. Important to know that there is an escalator that takes you underneath the hotel and allows you to access most of the buildings in the downtown area from underneath the street. "

"This is our fourth time here. Love the location! We walk everytime we attend a concert at the Life Center or Burton Cummings Theater. Great breweries (Little Brown Jug and NonSuch) and resturants (Pumphouse on James). Excellent communication with the host. Kitchen is well supplied. Building is quiet. Best perk is the assigned parking space behind the building. "
