"After paying £140 for the room and £10 to park, on site, I expected more. Room was very tired. Carpet was worn through to backing, dressing table & beside tables were covered in peeling varnish, worn through to wood on all the edges. The floor around all furniture was covered in dust, debris and it was clear there was no standards to cleaning. Some of the wooden slats on the window shutters were broken. Walls all marked. Just generally very disappointing. If you are looking for a nice hotel getaway, this isn't the place."

"Wonderful place to stay! This is one of the best accommodations we have ever had, and my wife and I have visited 52 countries. The host was very welcoming and provided everything one would need to feel at home. This location makes for an excellent hub to take day trips to Edinburgh, Glasgow and to see so much incredible history nearby as well. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Scotland!"

"Great Base camp for exploring Stirling, Edinburgh, and all of the surrounding attractions. Apartment had what it needed including all of the basic amenities. Parking wasn't too bad. We only had two drive around looking once or twice. Thanks for helping us have a great trip."

"A well located clean and comfortable property let down by poor/ non- existent broadband - despite prompt and best efforts of property supervisor. This meant the tv was also unavailable at times.The sink plug in the shower room did not work nor did 2 of the lights. Lack of any wardrobe space was surprising but manageable.On street parking was not always straightforward but overall an enjoyable stay."
