Excellent weekender. I stopped in on my drive up to Denmark. I had the attic room, wonderful appointed bathroom, comfortable bed and great view of the garden. Very clean, tidy and quiet. Staff were very friendly as were the locals. It’s a convenient location too, lots of great sites just a short drive away. I would stay again.

Het hotel was prima. Een mooie ruime schone kamer. Personeel zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Maar het ontbijt was karig, zeker gezien de prijs die je mag betalen. Alleen water, melk en appelsap, en koffie en thee. Als er iets op was werd het niet aangevuld. Jammer, geen €20,-- pp waard.

Deze maand twee keer in augustus verbleven in Lunia. Een dikke plus voor het personeel, de keuken en de bedden. De ligging is prima en het hotel heeft twee accommodaties. In het hotel zijn er verschillende hotelkamers op zolder en wanneer je iets meer geld uitgeeft kun je verblijven in de aangebouwde vleugel. De zolder kamer is knus, maar misschien iets minder praktisch. Deze kamers beschikken gelukkig over AC. Deze AC maakt tijdens het gebruik om de halve minuut een rare brom/ zoem toon. Ook na het uitzetten gaat dat nog minimaal een uur door. Dat zou je wakker kunnen houden. Verder heeft de zolderkamer een regen douche, waardoor het voor vrouwen met lang haar, eigenlijk onmogelijk is om je haar te wassen en spoelen. De kamers in de vleugel zijn meer van deze tijd en verder prima, op het raam in de douche na. Dit raam op de begane grond, zorgt ervoor dat mensen die passeren, je kunnen zien staan douchen. Prima natuurlijk als je wat exhibitionistisch bent aangelegd. Wat ons voornamelijk opviel in beide kamers is dat er slecht schoongemaakt was. Plafonds en muren hebben extra decoratie bestaande uit spinnenrag en stof. De kit randen in de douche zijn beschimmeld en de ventilatie roosters zijn ook voorzien van stofnesten. De parkeerplaatsen van het hotel beschikken over 4 oplaadpunten voor auto’s. Als er eindelijk eens geen auto’s daar geparkeerd staan die daar niet horen te staan ( conventionele voertuigen) kun je daar laden. Helaas duurt dat extreem lang en zijn de kosten bij

As the only hotel in Oldeberkoop you are limited to this location. I had one of the ole rooms in the main building. I’m more of a Westin person so this old fashioned “cabin in the attic” didn’t work for me. I was originally booked for 5 nights and after the first one I decided to cut my stay to 3 nights and eat the loss of money. The old rooms might be fine for younger people. I am 50 and I luckily workout everyday & do stairs every chance I get. You must climb 3 flights of very steep stairs with your luggage to reach the upper rooms. I did not eat at hotel restaurant or use the sauna or bikes. The small village is easily walked to. There is a small grocery store & a few restaurants. Weekly village market too that is worth visiting.

Centraal gelegen hotel in het stadscentrum met prima eigen parkeergarage tegenover. In het weekend wel veel last van straatgeluiden: zowel verkeer als uitgaanspubliek. Geen 2 x eenpersoonsbedden beschikbaar op de kamers, dus ook met vriendengroep moet je tweepersoonsbed 180 x 200 cm delen.... Ontbijtbuffet was prima. Al met al een oké prijs- kwaliteitsverhouding

De locatie is super, eten uitstekend, de kamer(s) achter het oude gedeelte waar je incheckt, ontbijt en dineert is geweldig. Ruim, goed bed en de douche ruim. Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk en weten wat zij serveren.

Jammer, sauna afgebrand.

We waren teleurgesteld dat de sauna niet beschikbaar was, afgebrand in oktober. Dit staat op geen enkele site vermeld en in de reserveringsbevestiging stond dit ook niet. Hadden het hotel erop uitgezocht, lekker vaak even in de sauna. Alternatief was een bezoek aan de sauna in de buurt. Prima sauna maar totaal ander gebruik van sauna dan even vanuit je hotelkamer. Niet al het personeel kon service-gericht met deze teleurstelling van ons omgaan. Het eten in het restaurant was heerlijk, de mogelijkheid om een film te kijken was leuk.
