Every interaction felt genuine, attentive, and thoughtful. The food was outstanding. Both dinner and breakfast were beautifully presented and full of flavor, easily one of the highlights of the stay. You can tell a lot of care goes into every dish. The room was spacious, comfortable, and perfectly designed in a traditional style, which really added to the overall experience. "Staff were incredibly attentive and nice. Even with the language barrier they went above and beyond using Google Translate to explain the courses of our dinners and breakfasts, as well as information about the town. The hotel was slightly out of town (15mins walk) but they have a shuttle that was basically on demand. We wanted to go into town for the night and they dropped and picked us up at our desired time. The property is also tucked at the base of a mountain which made for a beautiful location. Overall a relaxing stay and a highlight of my 3 week trip around Japan. "

"I had a very comfortable stay here and would love to stay again! The staff were so hospitable, making check-in very easy and care-free. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities required for a short stay. There were blackout blinds to make the room completely dark at night, and the sound insulation seemed very good as I couldn’t hear anything from the neighbouring rooms. The location is perfect, a short walk to all rhe onsens and the train station. I would fully recommend staying here for anyone looking for a relaxing experience! "
