This BnB is amazing! Chanel provided flawless hospitality and accommodations. The property is well kept and located right in town. I highly recommend considering this BnB for your trip to Orange. Also a great price compared to other hotels and BnBs.
The stay at Greenock Manor could not have been better! We loved every minute from the secluded location to the friendly and attentive owners. We would stay again in a heartbeat! Thank you for making our trip wonderful! From precheck in to check out, there was never a moment that we could not get a staff member. We loved it and had a fantastic stay.
Wonderful wonderful wonderful.
Chanel was great! The perfect balance between attending to our needs but letting us enjoy our time to ourselves.
Great setting and a wonderful time

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
The aprehension dawned on us as soon as we entered the property. There are logs and cut down trees littering yard. The grounds are not maintained. Lights in disrepair. Fences broken. Garbage strewn about. The “cottage” we stayed in was a converted shack. Bed was hard, cheap, and uncomfortable. Lighting was inconsistent in same room. Plastic covering on skylight. Dirty ceiling fan. Cheap shower curtain and hangers. Kit Kats next to bed. “Breakfast” was some food lion muffins, still in container, some granola bars, laughing cow cheese, and some slices of meat in wrapper all left in fridge. This place is absolutely fraudulent. It’s not a manor. It’s not a hospitality center. Heck, it ain’t even a place that’s set up for overnight stays. I wouldn’t expect some college kids to crash here, much less treat my wife to a weekend away - which is what I tried to do.
The property was very quaint and decor was imaginative and varied. Our room was spacious and certainly quiet. Our hosts were quite friendly and provided good background information on Orange and surroundings.
I was quite disappointed in the two breakfasts we had. The first morning there were fresh hot croissants -- but no egg or other hot main dish. The second day there weren't even croissants -- just cereal, commercials muffins, etc. I thought the room rate excessive considering the quality of the breakfasts.
The owner of the property was lovely. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Nice to get recommendations on restaurants and things to do in the area. Two suggestions - breakfast was "to do" due to covid. Nice selection of options. Maybe switch the coffee cups to mugs in the winter. Coffee gets cold in glass mugs! Also, maybe add a nice loaf of break for the cheeses and meats.
The house and grounds are expansive and beautiful - great site for an event like a wedding or retirement etc
Chanel (the owner) is delightful and extremely accommodating (we were able to bring our 11 month old puppy) and it was just wonderful!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in our individual cottage. Chanel was exceptional in making our stay so wonderful. Chanel ensured that our cottage was well stocked with so many amenities including fresh bakery items and delicious cheese and charcuterie items.
The property is beautiful and ours room (King) was bigger than I expected and very comfortable. Chanel was so hospitaal and made sure everything was perfect. Her communication prior to our stay was so helpful for recommendations of attractions in the area. It was a perfect place to celebrate our anniversary ❤
I thought For a bed and breakfast that the breakfast part needed some serious work. We were served store bought muffins under covid protocols but I feel They could have made the muffins from scratch and packaged them that way. People come to BnBs in part for the hot meals—we ended up having breakfast elsewhere. Otherwise very lovely property! Host was very kind if at times overly attentive, and also could use a more private check in process then running my card in the entryway!
We had such a great experience. The room was very clean, and Chanel was a wonderful host. She offered suggestions for dining and entertainment. She even called around to find out which places were open. She was always accessible, but she didn't hover. I highly recommend this establishment!
Chanel was a wonderful hostess and very helpful during our stay in the area. Our room was comfortable and the breakfast everything we needed for our hiking and touring in the area. Just a warning to travelers to Orange, many restaurants in town are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, so check websites before you come.
