"The room was in perfect condition. The garden is absolutely beautiful, I spent a lot of time there even though I was only there for one night. The staff is great, they took pictures of my friend and I for us and had snorkeling gear ready to take, but we didn’t need it. We got a free welcome drink which was considerate. There were two cats roaming around outside that were so sweet!"

"The only problem we had was our Nextdoor neighbor spent the entire week smoking on her balcony. We were not able to enjoy the view because the smell was disgusting. Anytime we opened the balcony door, our room smelled like we had smoked in it. We complained, but nothing was done. It’s a shame one inconsiderate person can ruin an otherwise great experience."

"Fred is a wonderful host! We are SO glad we chose to stay here. First, everything was very clean. The bed linens and towels were nice and soft. The location was perfect for us. There are two new air conditioners. They felt amazing after a hot afternoon at the beach! We left them off while we were out but the place stayed cool and the new air conditioners really cranked the cold air. The shower is large and there's a new rain shower head and wand. Water pressure was very good. Shower was warm, not hot, but it also didn't need to be hot. You're in the tropics! There's a nice, big closet for all our luggage. The bedroom had blinds and blackout curtains. It was so quiet! No noise from neighbors above or beside. My favorite thing about Le Chateau was the location. It was very walkable to nearby restaurants and beaches. After we took the taxi from the airport we never used a car again, we were even able to walk to the cruise ship terminal to board our boat. The location was very convenient. It's just a couple houses off the main street but it was VERY VERY quiet, which I really appreciated. We felt very safe and secure. The neighborhood was quiet and surrounded by other nice homes. We felt safe walking at night, too. Added bonus that wasn't in the listing...a bidet and an ice maker! Fred also beach towels and chairs, too. For the price, it can't be beat. It's not a luxury resort but it's in a great location, it's clean, safe, and has all the basics and then some! "

"Room was clean, cool and well appointed. Staff were very helpful and, although we had to buy breakfast, it was very good. The area is a bit run down but it is safe and an easy 10 minute walk to the marina and restaurants. All in all, good value and we would stay there again."

"Wow! Where do I even start. This property was one of the best VRBO rentals I've had. The pictures can't do it justice. There were 9 of us & we had ample space to lounge & hang around without feeling congested. We were a short drive from downtown & a short walk to the beach. We walked to the restaurant on the pier near the beach & were also able to walk to get take out. One day we even walked to the area where the cruise ships come in. It was a long walk but not bad. We were lucky enough to be there during the kickoff of the carnival season & was able to walk a block to witness the festivities. For reference, everyone was over 35years old & were able to tolerate the walks. We did rent 2 cars & everything was a short drive from the property which was convenient.Each bedroom had it's own bathroom which was convenient & there was a bathroom near the pool that probably got used twice. The kitchen amenities were good & we had all of the plates, cups, pots, eating & cooking utensils we needed to cook large dinners & breakfasts. The stove was difficult to use because we couldn't see the numbers but we were able to figure it out. The Pacman game in the living room was a hit.Property manager Remco was very friendly & an amazing resource for things to do on the island. He was accessible via whatsapp. You also get concierge service with this property which was very helpful for calling a taxi. Ample parking. My favorite part was hearing "no need to do anything on check out"."
