No Emergency Support – Power Outage Left Us Stranded
During our stay at this motel, we experienced a lack of assistance when we needed it most. Late at night (around 10:30 PM), the circuit breaker tripped, cutting off all electricity in our room. We immediately tried contacting the motel using the two emergency phone numbers provided—one went straight to voicemail (where we left a message), and the other rang endlessly with no answer. After 30 minutes of repeated attempts, we gave up.
The power was only restored just before 6 AM, abruptly turning all the lights on and waking us up. By then, we discovered that the loss of electricity had melted all the ice in the fridge, leaving a pool of water on the floor. Our suitcase was mere inches away—had we been slightly less fortunate, all our belongings would have been soaked.
It’s unacceptable for a lodging service to provide emergency contact numbers that go unanswered during a real issue. The lack of responsiveness put us in an inconvenient and potentially costly situation.
