"Beautiful hotel, in a lovely quiet part of Naxos. Our private pool was perfect set within a lovely courtyard. The hotel restaurant was lovely and breakfast had everything you need. The staff are 10/10 and we can't wait to return. The area is quiet and if you want to travel around Naxos you will need a car, buses stop not too far away and the Gyros place by the beach (7min walk) is brilliant."

"We loved this property at the end of the sandy track which runs along the beach front. A much quieter part of the beach which suited us and it was just like in the photos. We had a huge balcony and sea view which was so beautiful, particularly the sunsets over Paros. The staff were all so welcoming and helpful. The breakfasts were incredible for a small hotel, with choice of cereal, fruit, Greek yogurt, hot, savoury and best of all homemade pastries and cakes. We were able to borrow an umbrella for the beach and beach towels were also provided. We hired a car from Naxos New cars, and toured the mountain villages and Southern beaches but still preferred our quiet part of Plaka. There were some amazing restaurants nearby, petronus, peppermint, caya and Picasso and we drove into Naxos to explore the old town and try the busier tavernas but preferred those in Plaka for food and sunset views. It was a relaxed, authentic holiday made special by the quality of the accommodation and the kindness of the staff."

Naxos Island Escape

"This place is delightful. Marios, the host and manager, is thoughtful, efficient, informed, trustworthy, and welcoming. The breakfast is delicious and never-ending, served in a patio facing the sea in the distance and the hillside behind you. The rooms are simply beautiful: designed in line with local architecture and tastefully decorated. The bed is comfortable, the shower powerful, and the air-conditioning strong--though in all frankness the night winds do keep the room just as cool. The sound end of Plaka beach is at the end of the driveway, and 300-500m other of the sandy road there are all sorts of lovely beachfront restaurants and bars. Though lively, the best feature of the area is the quiet. This is not a place for crowds. On this end of Plaka beach there were are at least 20 meters between us and the next couple of sunbathers. This area is calm, relaxed, and laid-back and ths vibe is beautifully matched by the accommodation. Here in the evening you'll hear cicadas, not music--and maybe one of the many cats roaming around the fields clamoring for attention. Naxos Island Escape really is an escape, and I can think of very few places around the world--and quite frankly none in the Mediterrenean--that I have liked as much as this."
The White Stone Art Villa: Seaside, Luxury, Sublime Endless View

"Valérie takes GREAT care in her property and has spent considerable time and obviously money to create a unique Hillside Villa overlooking the sea. She is also a wonderful communicator who truly wants you to have the Best holiday and enjoy her home. With that said, there are a number of quirks of the property design that may or may not be important to other guests so by all means ask Valérie ahead of time. Specifically there are no en suite bedrooms. As a hillside villa there are A LOT of stairs and by design internally there are limited railings so if you are elderly or any mobility issues this may not be the house for you. Also one of the main bathrooms is on a floor with no bedrooms which may or may not be an issue. Finally the house is up a very steep road which currently has significant construction of some villas below so was quite dusty. Again only an issue if you wanted/expected to walk to the beach. The beach close by is amazing with lots of parking and if you are looking in this area for a villa you will already know you have to rent a car so again, may or may not be an issue. Of note, there is gated secure parking on the property which was a very nice feature. The pool is also not heated which is the norm I understand But another question to ask ahead of time.The bottom line, view is incredible. We had amazing Birthday dinner with private chef that Valérie helped arrange. The villa grew on us each day so decide what aspects of a property are important and decide"
