Loved the fresh and modern style of hotel, friendly staff, standard classic rooms with lovely ambience and generous and delicious breakfast buffet w great coffee. Very modern hotel; centrally located right next to the central train station. It is very close to the Opera House, the Munch Museum and the waterfront.

The staff has been very accommodating. The room was well-decorated and even if it was just a standard double room, it felt like more than enough space for me to go around. The views are excellent. But the best part has to be its relative proximity to the train station so you can get on a train five minutes after leaving the hotel.

The Thon Hotel Opera has a fantastic location. It’s right next to the train station so it’s easy to get to the airport by train. It’s easy to walk to so many attractions or to take public transportation. The rooms are comfortable, clean and roomy. The breakfast is fantastic! Would return the next time we’re in Oslo!
