"We recently stayed 3 nights at Thon Slottsparken and had a wonderful stay. Good location - we were able to walk around pretty much everywhere. We stayed in a business room, and it could fit 2 adults, 2 young kids easily with plenty of space. They set up the sofa bed before our arrival, and it felt like we had two bedrooms! I don't think there was AC, but the weather was pleasant while we were there, so no complaint. Bathroom's floor was heated. There was a kitchenette in the room (stove, microwave, fridge, sink) with limited cooking utensils (just one bread knife, no other knives) and no dish soap, but I suppose they could supply more if we needed/asked for those. We didn't use the kitchen since we were just out and about all day after breakfast until bedtime lol. There was a self-service laundry in the basement (about ~$8-9/load), but we didn't need to use it. Breakfasts were plenty with a good variety. Staff was nice and friendly."

"We recently stayed at The Thief in Oslo and it lived up to its reputation. Yes, it is expensive, but in our view it was worth every penny. Our room was beautifully appointed and very comfortable, and the staff throughout the hotel were unfailingly helpful. Breakfast was a real highlight: a superb spread with excellent service, and the scrambled eggs were amazing. Dinner options in the rooftop restaurant are more limited, but what we had was perfectly fine, and the setting is lovely. The gym is good and the spa is excellent, though be aware that spa access may cost extra depending on your room category, so it is worth checking when you book. Highly recommended if you are looking for a luxury break in Oslo. We would happily return."

"Nice hotel on the outer rim of the central city in a quiet neighborhood but still within walking distance to most places. The hotel was nice, the staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good, If you are travelling by car try and make sure that you secure a hotel park if you can, there are only eight of them and on street parking is horrifically expensive if you miss out on a hotel park, which we did on the first day but managed to get one the next day. The shower was typical of European / Scandinavian showers, it leaked everywhere across the floor. We would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in a quiet hotel close to the centre of Oslo"
