"We stayed in room #530 Very clean, only complaint, needed better pillows and a harder mattress. A/C noisy, so made sure to turn it up at night so it didn't come on. Loved the breakfast, great variety. Staff very friendly. Perfect hotel if you want to walk to attractions. If you can walk 20,000 steps per day, this location is good. Underground parking at the hotel at $25 plus hst per night. 10 to 20 minutes walking to Byward Market, National Gallery, Notre Dame, Rideau Mall & Parliament Buildings. Very close to homeless shelter, so a lot of homeless people around. Just avoid Murray St and you'll be fine. Lot of homeless around the mall and numerous people begging in the market. We had no issues with any of them. We would stay here again a very well maintained property."

"We will absolutely stay again and recommend it to others! Everything was impeccably clean. The cocktail bar was fantastic. All the service staff were top shelf and the valet and door men were so kind. The rooms were fantastic, We loved the Nespresso coffee in the rooms and the beds were the most comfortable sleep we’ve had in a hotel. All of this on top of its boutique feel and downtown location where we could walk to our event centre and the Rideau centre made it absolutely ideal."
