The story of an old log house and the closeness of the sea come together in this cosy seaside villa in Kempeleenlahti, just 13 km southwest of Oulu. Built in 1890, the log house was moved to its current location in 2009, resulting in an intriguing blend of history and modern comforts. The private shore is only 50 metres away – the water is shallow with a firm sandy bottom. Please note that the distance to the shore varies slightly depending on the water level, and no boat is available.

The villa offers plenty of space: in addition to the combined kitchen/living room, there are two bedrooms. One has a double bed (180 cm wide), and the other has a three-tier bunk bed (120 cm wide). Two additional portable beds for children are also available, so there is sleeping space for up to seven guests in total. Washing facilities include a private sauna (electric sauna) and a bathroom, with a separate toilet. The glass-enclosed veranda is a lovely spot to sit and relax in any weather.

Heating is provided by a geothermal system, and a wireless 4G connection ensures that remote work can be managed easily from the property. The atmosphere is enhanced by a wood-burning stove and a fireplace that opens onto two sides – and, as a pleasant surprise for music lovers, there is also a piano.

The shop and bus stop are 3 km away, the nearest ski track is 5 km away (with a 5 km trail available), and a restaurant can be reached within 3.5 km.
