He took us around town and we got to see places off the tourist path! He also cooks food with his family nearby, and was willing to feed us at any time! The room was comfortable and pretty with great air conditioning. There were two adorable tiny cats who hung out on the premises who we loved making friends with :) We didn't use the shared kitchenette for anything except the water cooler and fridge, but it was nice to have. "My wife and I stayed at Melaya Estate for 3 nights in September 2025. The villa is spacious and comfortable. There is a private pool and direct beach access. It's a quiet area, very peaceful. The staff is excellent. You tell them what you want from their menu and they bring the food to your villa at the specified time. The food is excellent.
