The host was very welcoming and texted us prior to check on our arrival time. Very quick to answer a quick question about the backyard lights. Very clean and comfortable with fantastic amenities and coffee making supplies. We loved the upstairs loft. It’s a spectacular location with everything you would ever want right out the front door. Will be back!

The home was beautiful and in a great historic quiet neighborhood close to walk to the beach and nearby shops and restaurants. Home was clean, well stocked if you wanted to cook, and we also appreciated having coffee beans, pods, and cream and sugar. We slept in comfortable beds with greatest Temperpedic pillows in the world. Host and home manager were responsive. We really enjoyed our retreat and look forward to returning.

Our first stay in this house was 13 years ago, when we visited PG for a month. Everything about the house is terrific. Very cozy and fully equipped. The back porch and fireplace make every evening an event. The location, though, can not be beat if you like to park your car and walk to everything PG and Monterey have to offer. Looking forward to our next visit.

Margaret's property was exactly as described. Super clean, had great amenities and so close to everything you want to walk to in Pacific Grove. We parked the car and never got back into it for a couple of days. Highly recommend.

We love this house and have stayed twice. It’s remodeled nicely, walking distance to the beach and downtown shopping. Kitchen is large and fully stocked. We also enjoy the back patio grill, fireplace & jacuzzi. We will definitely stay here again!

Cute Getaway in Pacific Grove

Margaret's property is clean & comfortable and well maintained by Frank her property Manager. The location is wonderful - close to beach, walking trails, awesome dining & lovely shops in PG. Very close to both Monterey & Carmel-by-the-Sea.

The house was a great home base to explore Monterey/Carmel with the family (kids 7 and 4). Easy walk to the beach and restaurants. Hot tub and steam shower were a big hit!

Enjoyed an exquisite stay at Margaret's impeccable home in the 'Retreat'. House was exceptionally clean, super comfy, had abundant natural light and all the modern conveniences you could wish for. My best friend and I celebrated many years of our friendship by exploring Pacific Grove, Monterey, Carmel, Pt. Lobos and the never ending beauty of the area. We loved being able to walk a block to a wonderful walk path along the beach and coastline, and a block in the other direction to the shops and restaurants lining the downtown area. It was sublime. The owner Margaret and house manager Frank were easy to reach if needed. In every way possible, this was the perfect house in the perfect location ... and quite honestly one I can't wait to return to again.

Perfect getaway

We were in love with this house that is perfectly located close to the beach in PG. The check in process and communication with the host was easy and quick to respond. The house features were exactly as listed and met our expectations. We cannot wait to be back with another couple and also do a getaway with our kids. You should not look anywhere else and book this beautiful bungalow.

Pacific Grove gem

Wonderful experience at this property! It’s close to the beach, clean and comfortable! On a nice quiet street with restaurants walking distance. Can’t beat the location near Monterey, Carmel, Pebble Beach, etc. Would definitely recommend staying here again!
