"Amazing place to stay. Simple and unpretentious. Clean, comfortable and modern. Great views (room and bar terrace) and nice staff. Glamping pods are separate from the main house and feel very private and secluded. Beautiful setting overlooking the hills and vineyards. Room (Olive suite) had a coffee machine and mini fridge with complimentary drinks/snacks. Large outdoor wrap-around terrace which got sun all day and late into the evening. Views overlooking the vineyards and rolling hills. Large/comfortable bed. Large, clean, modern bathroom. Onsite pool, bar and restaurant are all good (and reasonably priced). Notes to travellers: Property is in the hills, so some uphill walking to the main house (where reception, breakfast, dinner, bar are). Roads up to, and around, the property are a little bumpy and uneven. "

"Breakfast room was so pretty with good selections of food. The lodge is situated in an olive farm away from the hustle and bustle from towm/village. My wife and I enoyed the serenity. Early May is still a bit chilly at night in Tuscany. The unit is equipped with heaters both in the room and the bathroom. That was a real plus for my wife. "

"Rita is a wonderful host. She met us at a nearby location and drove us to the apartment. She showed us all the amenities, which are excellent. The place is really a separate house surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. The view from the front deck is lovely and it location very serene. We loved the place."

"What a great find! We were two families with 4 children aged 8-14 and this was an absolutely ideal base for us in Tuscany. As others have said - the house is so much bigger than it appears in the photos. The decor/ plumbing and electrics are somewhat dated, but this did not detract at all. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was great. The pool and outdoor space were amazing and we spent most of our time in and around the pool. The location was good as we had a car and so could easily get to the shops, to San Gimignano and Siena for day trips. The communication with Roberta and Vasco’s attentiveness were excellent. We had a slight problem with the electrics one evening, but they were available to help and Vasco was on site within 30 minutes to sort it out. A great villa - would definitely recommend! "
