Beautiful hotel in the heart of the city. Convenient to everything. Wonderful friendly staff and management who care and do their best to make guests happy.
The room as amazing, with its own balcony to sit out on.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was right in the middle of town . We could walk to all the sites and restaurants near by.
Loved this hotel. Lots of character and old world charm. Large rooms and big bathrooms. Great location. Able to walk everywhere from this location. Also, had dinner in the restaurant and it was excellent. Breakfast buffet was very substantial. A great choice for a stay in Palermo!
Beautiful hotel with great courtyard designed with skylight, fountain and the most incredible piano player filling the place with romantic verbs. The best place to eat for breakfast with elegant staff a 5star experiences.
A Wonderful Stay in the Heart of Palermo
Grand Hotel Piazza Borsa is a beautiful hotel with an elegant Baroque style that reflects the charm and character of Palermo. Its central location makes it an excellent choice for a short stay, putting you within easy walking distance of shopping, restaurants, and the lively streets of the city.
One of the highlights of our visit was San Francesco restaurant, tucked just behind the hotel. The food was fantastic, and I would absolutely recommend making time to dine there!
We especially enjoyed the atmosphere of the surrounding area, from exploring the streets in the evening to browsing the shops and soaking up the energy of Palermo. For a quick visit, the hotel was a wonderful base for experiencing the city and enjoying everything it has to offer.
If you are looking for old-world charm, this fabulous hotel has it in spades. This is every bit a 5 star hotel. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and the staff is impeccable. Attention to detail is the rule. Breakfast was fabulous and the lobby is a wonderful place to relax and have a drink after a night out. At first the neighborhood seemed a bit on the gritty side, but that seems to be much less of an issue after we got the hang of things and were more comfortable. We think this hotel is awesome.
This is our second stay . The hotel has a great buffet breakfast with the option of getting some cooked per your request, ie omelette, fried eggs, etc.
The suite was quite comfortable, quiet and clean. The hotel is in the historic area and near many beautiful churches.
The reception staff as well as the restaurant staff were helpful.
Very large rooms. Decor was nice. Beautiful old hotel in a very convenient location to restaurants and transport. The mattress on the bed was a little lumpy but overall a nice stay. Breakfast and the staff were terrific. Lots of choices and quality food. Staff give old fashioned impeccable service. We would definitely stay there again.
Great location, great room with comfy bed and great AC. My room was very quiet so I had a great night's sleep. The breakfast was great. I would definitely stay here again
Grand European style hotel in fabulous building! Excellent check in with a great clerk (male) and check out with Roberta. Other clerks man and woman...not warm, not friendly.
Beautiful upgrade..large spacious ( #420) room. Clean, a bit bland, but comfortable.
I'd recommend it for intrepid travelers who like old grand style.
Ive traveled thought Europe and not stayed in a 4 or 5 star where so many people..waiters, busboys, bellman, housekeepers had not the the understanding of a few words of hospitality English… A cup, a creamer for the coffee, etc.… We travel extensively so it didn't bother us, but I suggest you download an English Italian dictionary.
Hotel had a great location.
This is a fantastic hotel in an amazing location—it's close to absolutely everything, yet tucked away on a quiet street. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast is amazing with great options to start your day. Highly recommended for a peaceful yet convenient stay!
Hotel was very nice and location great. The reception was wonderful. But after checking out, waiting for our train, the hotel lobby attendant was rude to us. Told us we couldn’t have plastic water bottles in the lounge area (while others did). He followed my husband into the restroom and stayed in there until my husband left. We’ve never been treated like that at any other hotel in the world.

Conveniently located to Valley of the Temples. Good restaurant options nearby.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
The hotel is a beautiful building. What we found lacking was the warmth we normally receive when checking in. The staff seemed off put. I was watching one bellman/security guy who never once smiled. Maybe if he’s security he’s not allowed to smile! The rooms were pretty plain for such an exquisite building. Finally our bathroom had a step from the tub toilet area to enter or leave. This was a concern for us as an older couple.
A nice breakfast was available. It’s a good choice for a great location and beautiful facility.
Staff was excellent especially reception people. Could not get better location for the hotel. Staff however did not recommend the restaurant in the hotel said was overpriced.
The hotel is amazing by itself bedsides it being walking distance to everywhere located just in the heart of Palermo .
The atrium is gorgeous , we found ourselves gathering there after a day in the town . It was very relaxing with music and you do bof feel crowded as it has so many nooks and places to seat families together .
The rooms are very spacious and very comfortable with all amenities being provided . The A/C. Works very well too
