Overall a great place and in a great location. Amenities are nice! Pavilion, Grill, Huge Pool, Hot Tub. Relaxing atmosphere at night.
Now for the bad…We checked in around 11pm, and called that morning to request a top floor room as I had called earlier in the week to request and the gentleman told me that a room could be assigned to us the day that we check in. The lady that was working was very rude and not personable at all. (Can’t remember her name) but girl, if you hate your job, just say that! “Manager” on duty, Jimi was also very rude as we were 2 female adults and a female child who had just driven 7 hours, and did not want to have to carry luggage to our room. We requested a cart and Jimi “went on a search” for one..to come back 10 minutes later and just say “sorry we have had a lot of people check in today” okay, what’s the point? There should be carts available at all times in case of emergencies or handicapped guests checking in.
The second night we were there we went down to the lobby for ice cream. There was a line at the counter for check in, which is understandable, but we were never even acknowledged and as the woman on second shifts line died, she proceeded to look down at her phone after many instances of eye contact with me and her telling us she would be right there. I then had to go back to the desk and tell the mgr that we wanted ice cream..we finally got it after standing there for about 30 minutes.
I could go on..but I won’t.
